morph ban is an asian thing I guess.. morph annoying to play against and so easy to use -_- our opponents fp morph whenever possible so ban when theyre fp
tide is sometimes banned in the euro/na scene too, no?
about batrider... we know he's imba but we took a risk not banning him. 2nd game we let them have bat since we were going to take rhasta and if they take bat that leaves us more options for our next 2 picks. We were really happy with our picks that game.
3rd game we discussed batrider and decided if they're going to use batrider the same way they did the 2nd game (radiance batrider? cant.... tank.... o_o; we might as well let them have it.
1st game we just got outpicked. DS over enigma wouldve worked better imo. And we kept forcing teamfights that couldn't be won -_-

tide isnt banned too often, but i ban him sometimes if we run es/sand so they either have to warlock or dont have a team stun =P.
batrider is just really good at stopping a lane from doing much, but radiance first is a bad choice imo. Better off with a heart then radiance or even a guinsoo -> heart so you can live through team fights.
|
Why would you go radi on Batrider now that it doesn't trigger napalm? Might as well spend all that money on a guinsoo imo.
|
because napalm slows heroes and you can chase well. Also it does work really well with firefly/lasso.
Its a good item on him, but its situational. Ive gone a late game radi on him because it really helps up his damage once he has heart.

I like to rush dagger and drag people back to my team because I'm a faggot, but I don't know how to play DotA anymore so w/e.

o.O
dagger in to lasso?, seems risky in team fights =P. you cant use dagger after you lasso someone becuse it breaks the lasso.

It's actually what makes him and Puck stupidly hard to kill and easy as hell to jump in a fight with.

dev always goes blink on batrider... and he destroys shit so it seems reasonable :p

Dev could go anything on batrider and destroy shit. ;p

I dunno why every non-American tries to hang the Iraq War over US players, considering most of us don't give a shit about politics (domestic or foreign) and don't take Iraq as some massively shameful, dumb, or controversial event (compared to say something like German Nazism or Japanese Imperialism).
The only reason I am ranting about this is because on 3 separate occasions, some retards on Garena brought up the same thing when I was in the Euro rooms.
"OMG high ping" "Go invade iraq" "what" kicked.

Isn't that kind of a shit attitude to have? Shouldn't it be a massively shameful, dumb, and controversial event they should care a lot more about? ;p
|
Testie, that's the un-American thing to do

Well I tend to find a floating batrider aflame warns even the worst retards of my intentions because let's face it, it looks like "HEY IM ABOUT TO GANK YOUR ASS NOW!" whereas they are caught unaware if I dagger next to them and lasso them out of position, then the team pounds them to the ground.
No I don't use dagger to jump into team fights, as bat is not an 5v5 initiator (unless it's already initiated and I am out of place and need to position myself) so yeah, half the reason to get dagger is thrown out the window. Maybe it's not worth it, but I like it anyway. Obviously it doesn't improve the hero as it improves SK, Axe or whatever.
It's also pretty damn fun tbh to dagger out of nowhere and drag stray people into tower fire

The iraq war & occupation is something americans should've been able to stop if you believe we're a democracy, but considering that there were unprecidented domestic protest against the war before it even happened and it's still happening just goes to show that we're not as democratic as we're cracked up to be. The Iraq war is shameful but the blame for it isn't really something you can lay at the feet of every US citizen you run into. What're REALLY shameful is the fact that the US re-elected the asshole that started the war. Better to rub that in our faces, imo.
Judicator was probably too young to care about wars when it happened and I wouldn't blame him for that. Especially since he's a gamer and gamers are notoriously oblivious to reality since they spend the majority of their time escaping it.
