Take Counter-strike and Starcraft for example. Those require solid mechanics/micro for you to excel in whereas DotA mechanics are easier to perform. It's more timing oriented than fast hands and accuracy. That explains why you see less bitching in those games. Because someone simply can't have mechanics when it matters. On the other hand, it is frustrating to see someone not silencing at a critical moment because all that is required to do is knowing when, not how. Simple things like carrying a TP scroll are easily learnable, no?
Aside from the "you said" and "you said that I said" and "you said that I said that you said" stuff, here's my take on this:
There are people who are frustrating to play with. Some people voice their frustrations, and other people don't like hearing it.
Either side can deal with it: Squelch, or stop talking to people who aren't listening anyways. Flaming the other guy just shows that you want to argue instead of removing the problem.
Right. And Testie, 20-0 "with ease" makes me assume you're talking about noob games. But then, 20-0 with noob opponents isn't that hard with almost any hero.
Look at my Lion; everyone agrees that it's a crappy hero, but I still get good scores with it. Especially if I solo, but it's mostly a matter of how noob my opponents are.
yeah about that how did that turn out i couldn't gather whether you were playing with them or against them, but apparently you weren't too impressed with their dota squad? :O mym.heen m i rite
Not exactly tbh, they went joke builds and absolutely fucking dominated. always godlike. When mym.h4nni played doom he absolutely destroooooooyed everyone and farmed extremely fast, even faster than doom's usual fast farming
so like, how long are you guys gonna be up for, and will you guys be playing tommorow at around the same time but a couple hours earlier? I stayed up really late last night messing around and partly cuz i was devouring dota guides but if yall are playing tommorow i'll make sure to show up

not ranged but you may REALLY LIK THIS HERO ^_^ i almost guarantee youll like her. Black Arachnia, Broodmother she is as baller as they come! you can either opt for or against Spawn Spiderlings, i usually dont get it but it's a great nuke spell with long range and pops spiders if it kills something, which are awesome pushers/farmers/creepers. still since brood has the most awesome ult and good stats i avoid it often and just get 1 or 2 in web and orb/stats/ult only. i recommend butterfly/buriza/Black King Bar (you may want the BKB earlier if the enemy team has lots of heroes that stun/disable you) and then finally Heart
btw if you DO get Spawn Broodlings I advise trying for a fast arcane and spamming the nuke on heroes, or you can try other mana regen like sobi masks etc.

dont worry, until someone goes axe on our team, you have nothing to worry about thanks for the reminder though right now i'm in a solo-rosh-at-lvl-7 mood haha
edit: as for this whole thing here like, usually i side with ryugie, but the last game he took it a bit too far. i think spectre was really upset ;(. usually i find, the responses to insults/beratements go something like this: -if they think the insulter is an idiot, they tell him so -if they dont care, they ignore -if they knew they did wrong, they say sorry and so on -but when they start saying things like "dude im trying my best" and "please stop" instead of shit like "fuck you" then i think its time to cut it out -.-;
anyway ryugie does usually give advice at first before going into pure-bitchy mode because they weren't following the advice. and the advice is usually good, like when i was krob and didn't use my swarm as soon as possible, and ryugie told me to use it earlier. i mean it obviously makes sense due to its low mana cost and cooldown that i shouldn't use it as a finisher. see i learned something. problem is, if he tells something like this to a random who doesn't follow the advice time and time again (not at anyone here, just in general), then ryugie gets bitchy. i can see both sides of this so i don't really care.
get on vent people :D i got my mic to work notsorry. i dunno about the quality, tell me in today's games
Yeh Ryu normally gives good advices, but he doesn't really need to get that angry. It is okay, life is kinda full of silly people, but those silly people can be wonderful if you talk to them more and be very very patient.
So JeeJee are you the reason I got to 30 hp from an ancient camp? Damn u, I was like "I'll just hit those 3 rock golems then I can buy something" Then I kinda went afk for 4 seconds, when I got back wtf I was at 100 health with 10 fucking golems hitting at me.

Man spidering is so much better for farming than nuking ~~ You can clear entire creep on your side with minimum effort, spawn web on trees to clear them to get to the other camp faster.
I kind of started playing again when I'm bored of leveling my rogue in WoW, but I've got a couple of questions:
1. When should you get Treads? When should you get BoT? The inclusion of the new Treads makes me wonder. I'm guessing heroes that primarily auto-attack would be good with the Treads, and those dependent on using their abilities more would probably be best with Travels, right?
2. I'm terrible at farming. Past the opening few levels, it seems that my income is not up to par with other heroes. For example, I see hero builds containing two, three, or four expensive items, and I rarely get more than the second. Do I just need to constantly sit in a lane and push it back to the river until it's safe to cross it?

As a whole, generally speaking, item builds are situational, and most hero guides present an unrealistic portrait of the items you can get. Especially with certain heroes.
Treads vs BoT is an argument no one has ever really found a one-true-answer for. BoT gets stronger as the game goes on, as you desperately need that teleport from one end of the map to the other, for pushes and the likes (can't TP with no towers up). However, many heroes find it incredibly difficult to farm up 2200 without dying, and many heroes can benefit greatly from the +10 stat and the attack speed. In general, I prefer taking Treads on attack heroes, but if the hero can survive to 2200, could use the extra movespeed, or doesn't really need the stat/aspd as much, I go for BoT.
For example, I almost always go BoT on Chaos Knight. His innate movement speed + blink + stun + bracers means he can survive a good deal of encounters, and his job isn't really pure DPS until much, much later in the game, so I find it far more useful to get the extra +20 movement speed (ensures that hardly any hero can run away from you) and the late-game pushing power (Phantasm works well with BoT, as it means you can raze a lane in a blink of an eye).
But I almost always go Treads on Slardar, as his survivability sucks, he can't farm and his mvspeed from Sprint is good enough to chase/run anyways. Plus I usually get Blink Dagger on Slardar.
As for when, in particular, you want to get it, that kind of depends on the game situation, I think. If you're farming freely with your hero, I think you can afford to just wait for the big item, and then finish up the Boot later. Or if you don't feel liek you can get 3000 gold or whatever for your big item without dying, might as well finish the Boot now, etc. But eh.
Also, you want to last hit/deny, for farming. If you autoattack creep, you're already screwing up. Certain heroes are also far better at farming. This has to do with their base damage, their attack animation, their spells, etc. For instance, CM is an atrocious farmer. On the other hand, if you're underfarmed with Razor you really, really fail.
