Lina's primarily a ganker, she's horribly effective from level 6 to around level 18, at which point her damage begins to fall off (due to armour and HP of opponents), and at around level 22 or so she usually becomes somewhat of a pin-prick damage dealer without her ulti. She has a great harass spell (Dragon Slave, AoE in a straight line = last hit + harass), but her stun is a pain to use (basically the same as Leshrac's stun, an AoE stun that you have to aim, but it has like a one second cast time- even longer than Leshy's).

QoP needs to solo middle lane though to be able to go 20-0.
Or have a good lane partner / stunner to kill whoevers in your lane a lot.
I really dislike a non-solo QoP.

give me a stunner and i'll go 20-0 for realz, early game i'll have low hp and im afraid my noobiness will make me die often, bracers then preserverance then boots then eye of skadi, i even got my build order memorized, max out scream early to try to get kills and mid game just gank gank gank, stay away from stunners and silencers

no actually non solo QoP is maybe even better than as long as you have any hero that decently supports her. (like rylai, lina, rhasta, sand king, etc) and, doesn't suck. if you do the combo properly I think its more powerful than a solo qop

Non-solo you're just under the level where your combination of nukes can't kill a lot of heros and it's annoying to watch so many get away with low life.

Laned QoP is obviously better with a good partner, Testie. Just because your experience suggests that people can get away with low HP after her nuke doesn't mean it's right all the time...and anyways you're supposed to attack as well, blink isn't just for running..

I'd like to thank everyone for the nice games we had on GGC over winter break and for putting up with an extreme newbie like me for all that time. I'll try to play during the semester as well but my opportunities fluctuate due to my roommate running torrents and slowing our connection down to a near halt.

to paper: You need to understand that we're not a bunch of serious dota gamers here stressing out over every single last hit at the 45th minute like it's a life or death situation. Notsorry (a very cool guy by the way), for example, played a bunch of games with his baby sitting on his lap. Some of us ate meals at the beginning of games. In short, this wasn't some mega-important competitive thing for me, and I'm sure a few other people share this opinion. Everyone gets a little frustrated in the game now and again, but it became a little old hearing you berate your teammates whenever something went amiss.
