You can just buy wards of revelation (or make support buy them for you) and you should be OK against him with someone like Flint or Soul Stealer (or any hero who has decent AoE nuke to farm + hurt Tremble and then just chase him away with autoattacks and get extra farm from mounds). But that's just my noobish theorycrafting.
Edit: Although come to think of it, Silencer might be an option too. Deny him mana and you deny mounds and make sure he can't summon the pet at 6 so easily.

yeah you're definately gonna need wards.
ive always thought that pyro was one of the strongest mids against melee heroes.
whenever tremble comes up to lasthit, you can just stun and harass the shit out of him.
only problem with tremble though is you have to be very good at harassing, staying out of creep agro etc. he gets so much life back from his auto attacks and the mounds, so maybe it wont work i dunno

Tremble is beat by wards or just making mid lane a 2v1 lane so you can take down the mounds no problem. Outside of that there are a few heroes that have a easy time against tremble, pred, damp real life steal wins nigasz, heroes with good aoe stuns and nukes like pyro or ss etc. Escapes work well aganist tremble too, i mean hag blinking he's not gonna get hag just blink correctly and expect stupid dives at lvl 6. EW also rapes tremble buy a ward hang back lay traps stand on trap lol as he gets stuck.

Played vs him with Flint (without wards) and i got completly destroyed. I was like barely above 100gpm. Couldn't get any CK or denies. He hits so hard with the hatchet, you are never able to get the last hit. Then at level 6 he started to tower dive and i got even more behind lol.
Definitly gonna try with some rev wards if i have to play him again.

Flint is still pretty bad against him, sorta like a dev vs tb mid match up tb get hooked it's gg. Same deal unless you kill him 1 2 times he just waits for lvl 6 then will tower dive on you cuz shutter is his bitch.

Yeah when I'm tremble I don't think I'm ever scared of any ranged hero. You just get so much regen sitting in mound, you have excellent last hitting damage and kill potential on any low hp hero from lvl 3 onwards. If I had to go against him mid I'd take pred or tide or if it had to be ranged probably dr repulser.

If you're going the hellflower + shards route with Flint you should be pretty ok with some wards. Killing his mounds at extreme ranges and harassing the shit out of him with flare. Even if you don't have wards you should still be able to farm quite OK with flares. I can't be sure though, didn't have all that much experience with Tremble to feel confident enough on ways that counter him 100%.
Would Jera or Elec work solo vs him? Would Pharaoh? This are some of the top contenders for solo melee lanes. Even Pesti should be fine. He has nice AoE stun and at 6 T can't hide in mounds any more.

Ranged heroes are generally a bad pick against Tremble mid. A few exceptions are slither, trade hp with him and he either has to buy stupid amounts of regen or leave the lane. Torturer, skip impalement use third skill to help cs and pull him in to stun. Silhouette, hard matchup, easier for the Tremble but you can come out even, use your passive and prehit creeps to increase your damage for last hitting.

Jere, Ele and Pharaoh would all come out at least evenly against him, those matchups would be more decided by player skill than anything. Pesti not so much, Tremble could just play aggressive and presti can only stun twice before he runs out of mana then he won't have much of a response, he won't get forced out of the lane but Tremble would get more farm.

well i always build tremble into a tank, when i go that rout unless you can burst me down you're not going to kill me i'm just going to run and heal up pretty quickly with hp items and the mounds and then repeat wearing you down. pharo and pesti could do fine against him but not beat him mid solo. Heroes like pred beat him because pred can just pretty much ignore him while farming mid lane and compete for last hits pretty well. Elec works out, i think repulsor beats tremble too, never seen a jere mid but i guess all that would matter is if tremble slow apples though the shield to which i don't remember.

Easiest way to deal with tremble is to just run dual mid vs him. Alternatively you need heroes that can out last hit him / regen as well as him, Zephyr, pred, elec are all strong choices, deadwood can do fairly well vs him, ra might do ok haven't played that match up. I'm not sure how well phar or jerry would do, jerry might do ok but I would think phar would get run over hes more suited for suicide solo lane. On a side note I usually do well vs him on cd but I've seen a lot of people fail at it so maybe its just me.

Jere is really really strong in 1v1 meele matchups as his healbomb makes trading hp really efficient for him. Go Max heal and slow with a rank of repel at 4 or when you need it. Just trade auto attacks and when you are both low healbomb on him, slow aura means he cant kite you and once you get ring of sorc nothing can push you out of the lane.

Jerry is like SO stronk rite nao anyway. Fits into many matchups and his teamfight turnaround potential is pretty much unsurpassed. He can handle 1v1 and sometimes even 1v2 lanes decently and just be a pain in the ass for the opposing team (has anyone seen UNGL Germany vs Australia games?) the entire game. You need to really gank him hard, this way he at least won't get too many items, but then you're not ganking enemy carry. Oh, the mindgames.

Tremble can just counter your ward and it costs him relatively less to do so since he can just get every last hit/deny against you. The only hero I've done ok with against tremble is zephyr, but I think tremble beats him if played right.

in one game i had a teammate play valk solo vs tremble. he barely got outfarmed (got atk dmg items for better last hitting) and he tried to get the lane pushed against us for easier farming. You don't have to necessarily beat him, but just need to nto feed him and not make it too easy to farm.

Would you guys know of any good resources for beginning HoN players?

I urge you to read through this thread. There are sources to guides and a lot of great advice in it popping from time to time. I'm too lazy now to dig it all up (I did a couple of times and one more would be one too many). I believe that starting since page 1500 (or maybe even 1600 to get a hang on most recent stuff) will be good for start.

Insta pick Scout because it is by far the best hero in the game.
