I've heard a similar suggestion in a dota fourm of having two Kongor pits but only one will be populated at one time. At 0.00 kongor will randomly spawn in either the top pit or the bottom pit. If that Kongor is killed then the he will ressurect at the normal time but the opposite pit. The effect is that you will have maybe a "hellbourne" kongor to start with then a "legion kongor for the second one and back and forth. It's still not particularly balanced as there is an advantage in having first kongor on your side but it evens out the discrepancy over a longer game with 2-3 kills.

it's still huge advantage to whoever gets lucky
first and third kongors are the most important

Make kong spawn in x or y location based off 1st row of towers, meaning if you kill the first teir of towers for hellborne kong will then span on legion side, ofc this removes lvl 1 kong, but they pretty much already remove it by removing being able to give him minus armor. Or you could have it reversed, as in if you get your towers pushed you get kong on your side.

it does take assists, have you seen the video of moonmeander having 12 charged lockets on a bombardier? he just ults from across the map and his deadwood killed the dude and he got the charge LOL

I think that locket is best on heroes like Witch Hunter or Wretched Hag. Massive kill and assist potential on both of them and they both benefit greatly from the item itself (not even talking about faster respawn times, that's good for anybody). I mean, you get your talisman early on for laning. It's cheap and gives you nice stats for the early phase. Then you can just turn it into locket at basically any time, 250 gold is really nothing and you get better stats and possibility of faster respawn.

And it doesn't charge on assists. At least it didn't for me and I was Hag and I had quite a lot of those (Example: Teamfight occurs, I port and scream into the middle, follow up with bat blast. Several people go down, none on my account (locket remains uncharged), one dude gets away and dies to the lingering effect on blast, my locket is now charged).

You can just check my last game and see when I got the charges or not. Don't remember the match # and I'm not in the mood to turn on HoN just to check that.
Time is precious. Waste it wisely.

You can only charge one locket at a time. He would hide the charged ones on courier and keep only one uncharged on his hero.

Yeah, but assists didn't charge it for me.

Edit: Nevermind. Just tried it out with Torturer and assists did charge the locket.
