After ~800 games in 6 months of HoN, i think it is time to stop this game. I had no first hand experience with Dota before and that's probably why i played as much.
My conclusion is that the game could be way better with a few more things:
- IP ban / region. Who wants to play with people from South America ? Not me lol.
- cc 10 minutes. Some games are lost from the start, there is no point to play.
- Less ridiculous carries. I'm not whining about balance, afterall everyone can pick a ridiculous carry for himself and you have a lot of different choices possible lol. Nah it is more from an entertainment standpoint. The funniest games i had were when people all picked non carry heroes. Games are much more back and forth, more kills, more action, less ricing and everyone can be useful even during late game. I'm sorry but i don't appreciate games with a farmed magebane or gemini.
- Reward people who buy courriers
- Reward more people who buy wards. It is absolutly ridiculous i have to play support in every game otherwise i know that i will never get a ward up.
- Banlist for MM ( just for the guys in your team )
- Remove Scout and Nh from the game.
Overall i would give 3/5 to this game and probably 4/5 if you are able to get a proper friend list ( too bad i had to solo queue all the time lol ).

I agree with the IP ban one, miss the old banlist in wc3 dota where you could actually get games with all players that spoke your language...but if youre losing to scout nh your team is just too jew to buy dust, truth

Haha no my problem is when i have nh or scout in my team. Or even worse when i have BOTH of them. You know when they are both staying invis during 3v5 team fights to get the last hit lol.

We'd win too if we didn't always get one person who disconnects from our team at the start of the game like a pussy.

I don't really agree with that. I hate it when people give up so early. If you just keep your heads high and keep playing you can still win. This is assuming your team comp is fine and can actually turn things around late game.
However, some games are lost fast like if your barracks are gone way too early. Still, 10 minutes is way too early to give up.

While I respect your opinion, for me it's not about if the game is still technically winnable, it's about whether the team wants to give in and start a new game on fresh terms. If the CC vote requires 5/5 votes I can't see any reason why you should have to wait till 15mins to CC.

you must be the most calm person on TL. I don't think I could play 800 games in solo queue before getting pissed off at stupid people. Always try and queue with 1 or 2 other people, that way you can dominate a lane with two people (monarch+anything) and also have someone you trust mid.

Guys, hear me out, guys, guys! I've got the best idea of fixing Hellbourne Kongor advantage:
Use the top left and bottom right corners of the map to put 2 Kongors there (remove one from the middle obviously). If one is killed the other one automatically disappears.
This solves everything and adds some interesting stuff: 1. You need to watch 2 pits. 2. Kongor races (as only one team can get benefit for killing it).
Wouldn't that be awesome?

You guys need to stop playing HoN and play a real man's MOBA game i.e. dota. The mechanics of DOTA completely shit on HoN and LoL. I have played all the MOBAS and in my opinion DOTA is just on another level.

Lol dota mechanics, i love the random shit fanboys put up there, like slower is better! etc and hon is instant cast(even though any one with skill can cancel skills all day with stuns or animation canceling to fake spells, or their attack speed herp) Or random shit like dota is balanced when it's only about as balanced as hon, there are clear instances of some heores are just better then others when you make a team, in both games.

I've heard a similar suggestion in a dota fourm of having two Kongor pits but only one will be populated at one time. At 0.00 kongor will randomly spawn in either the top pit or the bottom pit. If that Kongor is killed then the he will ressurect at the normal time but the opposite pit. The effect is that you will have maybe a "hellbourne" kongor to start with then a "legion kongor for the second one and back and forth. It's still not particularly balanced as there is an advantage in having first kongor on your side but it evens out the discrepancy over a longer game with 2-3 kills.
