Also, random question: How many times can you hit someone running straight with bombardier's ult? If he's still it hits twice, right? And I have yet to figure out why boomdust is recommended early on. I prefer maxing W right after sticky bomb by lvl 9 for ganking potential. It seems like a crappy skill in combat because of the short cast range. Am I missing something? gauntlet is so fun lol one of my favorite heroes although i dont play him as much anymore. play with dev and ask him to play gauntlet, hes such a beast at it haha i used to level him how you do too but boomdust is really good for harassing and last hitting. basically if you're in range of them, as you attack them throw on a boomdust on them and it will deal more damage. good for last hitting too if you can time it right. in a lane though, leveling the slow and the bomb might be more effective

So if you max boomdust and get one level of W, and boomdust them and then W them, boomdust will proc several times.

As deadwood, after blink he doesn't really have anymore core items. Most people would probably tryhard with shivas/cuirass, but just get whatever the team needs. You get the gimmicky dagon deadwoods, and also the ones who build as a carry with frostburn but yeah, blink is all he needs. It'd also make sense to get shieldbreaker and cuirass just for the extra -armour.

one of the nice things about it is that any dmg source makes it explode, and since w gives you a lot of mini aoe it basically makes whoever is covered in boomdust a big aoe bomb.

At level 7 with 1 enfeeble, 1 grapple, 4 infernal + ult you are pretty damn scary, about as scary as dev probably. Early game you can hook people to you (goes through creeps btw) and set up kills with your lanemate and then lategame with pk/shroud you can get behind someone and hook them soooooo damn far. You can move someone 1250 range as long as the other hero is 800 away (dev hook is 1000 btw). ![]() He's easy to get the basics down but hard to maximise grapple, kinda like dev. I think gauntlet suffers from being a pretty terrible lategame hero though, enfeeble doesn't do enough to keep you up in dmg/as
