Good to see morph nerfs, but no invoker nerfs make me sad.


Morph nerf isn't much really. It just wont scale as well for late game, the base dmg it gives will make it a bit better for early-mid game.

Phoenix' sunray got nerfsticked, thank god. Now when I pubstomp the pubs going against Phoenix wont go 0-10 in 7 minutes. Tuskar should've gotten hit harder imo.

Everything else is heh. I lol'd when Lina got her range upped to 625.

Well, in the long run yes, you would be going up but seeing as 53% is pretty close to 50%, and every game you win/lose you win/lose the same number of points, you probably won't be getting any higher any time soon statistically speaking.

In short: because you keep playing higher ranked people (which is where you real skill level is, I'm assuming), your win rate is going to always sit around 50%. To remedy that, you should play with people at your MMR skill, beat them most of the time, get your higher MMR, then go back to stagnating at the same level, only this time with a higher MMR.

3 hard supports, Pharaoh and Myrmidon really shouldn't be considered hard supports.

How to raise MMR, learn to play carries, and get babysat or go mid.

Honestly, while I am thankful for support players, players who mainly play support are not as good of players as most people in their rating region and usually only play support as an excuse to get carried.

That's bullshit really. Spending all your time and money on counterwarding, warding, stacking jungle, assisting on kills while keeping deaths to the minimum, although you have no farm whatsoever, that's a tougher thing than playing a hardcarry.

Even for counterwarding, which seems like a pretty simple thing, it's often done wrong in the games I play, players will place the ward+counterward at the exact same spot, covering less area than if they placed the counterward in the middle. Also, figuring out where they warded takes observation and it's not always as obvious as it seems.

I would say semi-carries and gankers are the toughest role to play in general, since they require the most game sense, hardcarry the easiest.

reading that post just made me spit my redbull all over my notebook, slam both fists on the table, stand up, rip my shirt apart and throw the entire fucking table out of the window.

i hope someday you reach the skill level necessary to realise how wrong you are.

the reason i play mostly support, is because whenever i don't THERE IS NO FUCKING SUPPORT. warding is unconsistent and BADLY DONE, flying courier is bought at the 25 min mark, and the support attempts to farm and solo gank. thats the fucking problem. if my lowbob mates could play halfway decent support, i would carry them up to 1800 mmr easily, but the thing is they suck. so i carry them by playing proper support.

because YES... playing a hardcarry is actually VERY SIMPLE.
