I'm starting to be less annoyed by all the adren hate and have begun to take pleasure from all the people who want him gone. Feed me you're hate and you're frustrations, I love it.

Also it's no surprise because fugly has been the one person who has been on and off that team multiple times. Clearly there's a breakdown somewhere.

Will it be bot Allu or god Allu is the question as always.

Did he call on 3d max? He is a solid individual player but that is not what NA neccesarily needs and he doesnt seem to be the typ to teach then "European style" but I could be wrong

I honestly thought that Fugly needs cut too but Adren needs to go first. I feel bad for fugly being the scapegoat when adren is the one holding this team back. Liquid bringing adren out of retirement was the worst mistake they have made, the second worst being giving him complete control of the roster basically. Adren is not worth keeping around in any way shape or form. He isn't even that popular.

My only fear now is that signing Allu might expose him as the player he really is. I imagine its a lot easier to perform well when you have legends like forest getright and xizt backing you up. I hope he is up to the task.

That said, any IGL's available to teamliquid at the moment?

edit: One thing, are you questioning Allu? The guy was a monster in weaker teams, it was at NiP where he was lacklustre until F0rest took a different role in the team.

And I still do not think that a 6th man as coach/IGL does work out. I think the IGL has to be on the battlefield to find the correct decisions during the whole game, to feel how good the enemy works here and there and to find anticipating strategies.

I think Navi handle things really well. You have Zeus who handles the ingame midround calls, but Starix handles the strat calling and coaching. It can work, but I agree you still need someone ingame of course.

Seems to work ok for navi. I don't buy into the idea that the IGL has to be playing himself. No other sport really does this. In cs its that way because the idea of paying the salary of a guy who doesn't even play was unheard of until recently. I am pretty sure this will become the norm within a few years as teams learn they can stack their 5 man roster with star fraggers who don't have to worry about controlling anyone other than themselves.

I know that the Coach can do it, in alot of online leagues you see things like "now the coach just has to go to the coach slot and we can start playing". And shure, he needs his own PC at a LAN. But still I dont see it work often. My opinion is still that a IGL needs to be in the game to read the enemy the best way possible.
Shure, in most sports the coach gives the general strategy from the sideline and not from the field, but there is often still a captain leading on the field. I can see how the IGL will be divided into player/captain and coach/headstrategie, but outsourcing the IGL completly for a 5th mad fragger, I do not see this working. A coach will never have the direct feel a player gets during the game for the enemy and his plays.
