I was unable to record last week because of a serious and life threatening injury. I should be able to record every one after the first. Tomas will probably stream it as well.

A lecture video would be fine, practically a podcast at that point. Lessons should be more hands on than the first.

Ive got to throw out some criticism / dislike for this initiative. Watching the videos above, you can learn everything & more from the better presented videos done by others (examples: steel/warowl/adren).

Bluntly, your presentation is messy & distracting (xkcd practically gave me motion sickness xD) and the way you explain things is often unclear or misleading. Some of the things you've said are downright wrong too.

Hearts in the right place but these guides are ineffective & detrimental especially when compared to video lessons of the same subject done by others.

Yes I definitely agree with your points, ideally this would be more interactive form of learning. What we suffer from is your points mentioned above and that we don't know how to pull players into it from just a passive listening mode. With my lesson I tried to keep it extremely short and just at the basics of map control. It was aimed at a lower ranked player that doesn't have much experience in understanding on why map control is good and why you as a team should work towards it together. We may end up scraping this if we feel it isn't helping or worst of all confusing players :p .

I know I was a bit unclear and flubbed up a few points due to lack of experience in the format. Not controlling yourself from running around like a madman on the map is also bad for the viewing experience, just something to do I guess. If I do decide to do another lesson myself I might try to record on my end so I can get a better video quality. I'll also work on speaking clearly and follow a better plan so I don't mix ideas when giving the lesson. Is there anything else specifically related to my lesson? Especially if you remember any untruths I told that would be appreciated. Or any ideas on how to make the lesson interactive.

Ideally these lessons were supposed to be interactive with people joining in and being part of it, but the way its happening right now is, as you said capped, ineffective. Doing a lecture on map control without player participation would probably be more effective reviewing a demo, if you wanted to do a very in depth lecture on map control.
