Yeah, it's difficult to work together as a team if everytime you play with new people, but what should we do? Get 5 or 6 people in a team and tell everyone else who signs up "sorry but you are late, make your own team"? I mean I am glad that after what happened in the past we can get 10+ EU TL people together to play and practice. It is so much more effective as a practice and much more enjoyable than trying to fight smurfs, hackers and griefers on MM or trying to get game on faceit for 20 min only to find out your team consist of silvers with no mics. So I agree with Nihil on this one - we just continue doing this. If we can get 10+ people every session for some time, then we can start thinking about 2 teams.
Also I really like Nihil's idea about how our practice sessions should look like + Show Spoiler +We pick one map per evening, first looking at it on tacnet.io. We discuss this giving everybody a chance to speak and we do it spot by spot for CT sides. No jumping from point to point this way! So when everybody is done talking about A, we go to mid, then to B. Then we can talk T sides and throw out ideas. Next we would jump into the game on our server, try out nades and the strategies we talked about in-game. Finally we'd go on FaceIT or MM and try and play the map to apply the concepts. This way our meetings would be very productive

Agree with Censured and NihiL.
The risk of forming the maximum number of teams right away is that should some people drop in motivation / stop showing up, potentially many teams get fucked.
While if we can get the most regular one into one team (or two if there's enough dedicated people), that has the best chances to work out. Also, there's a difference between having teams that try to go serious about it, and playing for fun or half-seriously one night (like we did yesterday, barring the small tactics discussions at the beginning).
Like, community nights could become a thing again (but not on Fridays apparently), and that would be an opportunity for those who can't / don't want to commit to still play with this group of people.

I don't like the idea of forming 2 separate teams already either. At least for now let's just make the most balanced teams possible around the same core of players (players who show up the most obviously) This way we can actually get used to playing specific locations without changing all the time

I'm quite happy with what we did yesterday.
Learned a few things about inferno, understood some others, overall I feel less of an idiot about this map (but that'll take more than that to start liking it... )

Yeah, yesterday was definitely a step up from Tuesday. We had structure and were more productive! We're still too many people but with time that will sort itself out I guess.
As for myself, I had the worst game of my life in that first one. No idea what was wrong. I went 1-20 or something first half and made a bunch of BIG mistakes (misbuy after getting dropped etc.) that I don't usually do. The second game right after I did much better so yeah, that was crazy.
EDIT: Also, while the teams were fairly balanced I still think we should shuffle together new teams next tuesday just so we get to know each other better!

Nice games yesterday, it was a lot of fun, and also a lot new things learned about inferno nades/tactics. Still I need to get used to play in full stacks /w tactical focus since I only played yolo-q until now but at least it worked better for me yesterday than on tuesday.
Also I can't associate the voices to names but I guess it will be better with the time we play

I noticed you spoke ingame sometimes and not so much (not at all?) on ts, was there a problem? I think your mic sound was a bit too low as well. You'll get used to playing with full stacks, just try to communicate more about what you're doing and what you're seeing though, it's really useful

EU went from having no community nights to essentially having two per week.
I always knew you guys had the potential you just needed someone to organize things.
So thank you, Censured. You're the man.
Also props to xkcd for getting EU their server again.

The man who won't allow nuke to be played on those nights, WHAT KIND OF MAN DOES THAT?
Yeah that server is precious xkcd, thx :D

Yea yesterday was really great practice. Felt much more confident in calling stuff than last time, and got to know player strenghts and stuff like that much better.

I set new push-to-talk key yesterday and I guess I mixed it up sometimes with the ingame CS voice key but I also had CS-ingame-voice deactivated...this way some of my calls could not be heard I guess ^^ Did my voice just come from ts or ingame-voice too (or maybe both)? For the next time I check the settings again, otherwise just tell me if my voice is to quiet or loud so I can fix it to an ear-friendly-level Another thing is that I'm the lowest rank and so most times I listen to others before talking some stupid-noob-stuff.
Also sometimes I don't know which spot to go, e.g. usually I play gay-corner on A when CT but it seems that's one of your favorite spots too. We lost 1 or 2 rounds because of I wasn't sure where to go else until I was told to hold short. In the end it was communication problem from my side but I will try to improve. Not to mention that positioning when we play is a lot different from what people are doing in yolo-q at my rank
