And can we stop with higher difficulty=enemys have absurdly high hp, and can take multiple headshots. Totaly ruins the immersion. Cant we adjust difficulty by having more and smarter enemys?

Your opinion is fine, I enjoyed FO1 and 2 as well. I don't go in to threads of games I don't like and start calling anyone who likes it a tool though. Because at the end of the day video games mean nothing. Stop taking them so seriously, and let everyone enjoy what they wanna enjoy my man There are multiple meanings of it. When used in video game debate it is a derogatory term that means similar stuff to what I wrote. Also new generation likes to use words like grognars, grogs and some others. We of the older generation usually use words clueless, tools and similar. It is a real life back and forth minigame, usually more fun than most of modern games.

Cant we adjust difficulty by having more and smarter enemys? There's literally shit to pick up where ever you look, hidden spaces that tell a story without telling a story (skeleton in a bathtub, 10mm gun and day breaker next to him) - how is this emptier than any other Fallout? And about that difficulty thing, .. lol. How many games are there which change AI based on difficulty? I'd go out on a limb and say zero. None. And no, RTS/RBS don't count. For a reason btw. But what i actually love most about that statement is, that over the course of the game you get hit by at least 500 bullets, which you all heal away by sticking a needle in your arm. That doesn't seem to be a problem for your immersion? But fear not. There will be mods very soon, that set your HP to a very low value. Then you can play on easy, where enemies die in one or two hits - and you will too.

Thank fuck skyrim exists with such excellent gameplay as stealing all the cheese in the world. Can't imagine why people would be salty with current bethesda games after that incredible development.

Also I'm lv 7-8ish now and I found myself at the BoS police station accepting the missions lol. I dunno if I'm ready for it, level-wise. The game seems to have absolutely no indication of levels and level zones to go to.

There are so many things even in the small starting area, and unlike skyrim half of them are never marked and you have to discover them. I restarted after running around the starting area for a few hours and hating the male voiceacor and now i constantly discover things i didnt see before and also didnt find a few things i did before. so, world design is actually better than witcher 3, which BTW still has skills that dont do anything because of bugs. what this game doesnt have is the excellent quests and story of witcher 3, this one is mostly exploring, which should not come as a surprise.

I mean shit, i must have a masochist side or something. Its terrible for immersion since im constantly reloading the harder parts but its my kind of fun and definitely lengthening the game alot :D Really enjoying the world & its atmosphere, exploring is fun. Enjoying the quests for the most part too. Also the AI is fucking smart as hell and the movement / animations on some of them is amazing (deathclaws, ghouls). Got rekt earlier when i peeked out and VATs crit someone with a minigun, killed her, ran off to heal, charged back round to shotty the other two in the face and the fuckers had actually picked up the damn minigun again so i got shish kebab-ed anyway ![]()

i feel weird about my build, most things are not in combat skills since i really dont know for which weapon to go for, so i am kind of still as powerful as my lvl 1 guy.

For the power armor, it feels at the start like you'll just park it in your settlement, but after you explore a few areas on the map you'll soon end up with a dozen fusion cores for it, so you can just stomp around in it 24/7. The power armor feels really fucking badass, really well done on that part. I dont' like the idea of having to scrounge for batteries for it, but otherwise the power armor is bloody spot on. You're almost impervious to small arms fire while in it and just the sounds and feel of the thing is great.

Not amazed by anything I saw on the stream. Actually The beginning and end looked rather boring to me. Not a game I would play.

That should keep my power armor running for a while. Cores or cells (i think)? One is ammo for energy weapon, while core is for power armor. I've been focusing on crafting things. Modding guns and building defenses etc. Spent my last perk into armorer but that seems dumb because I have no armor that I can mod :/.

Im planning to go to 3 endurance for 1&3 perks (toughness + health & regen) but the funny thing is atm playing on survival with 1 endurance and getting 1 shot by nades or legendary enemies and 2-3 shot by anything that hits significantly is STILL easier than the modded playthrough of new vegas i went back to over the weekend in FO4 hype. Also possibly minor spoilers about the rescue the minutemen quest+ Show Spoiler + did anyone else get attacked by a deathclaw when taking out the raiders outside after you get the power armor? I couldn't tell if it was scripted (maybe based on difficulty setting) or if I just got hit with a random event. either way he was a fucking bitch to kill

Also possibly minor spoilers about the rescue the minutemen quest + Show Spoiler + Scripted. I don't know how far you are in that questline, but.. As a well meant tip: save all the ammo for rocket launchers/mini nukes. As in, ALL of it. As soon as you hear the word "castle", prepare well. I wasn't. Spoiler (no, really, spoiler): + Show Spoiler + Maybe i was underleveled, did the castle (the Minutemen homebase) at level 17ish. Your enemy is a level 50 mirelurk queen (can tell thanks to perk), with some lvl 35 legendary mirelurks sprinkled in. Took me roughly 1500 rounds of all the things to get it done, and at least 50 quickloads. Has an acid-attack that oneshots you even through stimpak-spam.

it's a scripted event but it glitched for me and the deathclaw got stuck in the gap in the bottom and I could mow it down lol. After about 16 hours of playing: Difficulty feels easier than 3 or NV due to it being more action oriented and you can pretty much just out-maneuver stuff. Grenades are a bitch though. Also the Paladin companion you can get just mows everything down, he's completely imbalanced. The story seems way more immersive than in the last two games and the characters more likable and the machine/human dilemma is interesting. I like the voiced dialogue and the stronger narrative. I personally don't care for the crafting stuff and house-building at all. Also the map seems to be quite a lot smaller than in the previous games, and I have the feeling that I've already done a good chunk of the main quest. So I'm somewhat torn. I really like what they've done with the core parts of the game but I fear that they've had to turn down the scope of the game somewhat. The settlement stuff disappoints me, it feels like the MGS 5 mother-base, I don't see the point at all.
