Knowing where you go with blink even when you don't see where you're blinking too is super hard. It's like playing Scout on steroid. But Scout didn't have to aim as well lol The game is very fun but I can't help but feel salty about Bastion at times. There's copunter to him alright but he's just the kind of archetype that irritate me. Also, i'm kinda on the fence about Play of the game just being showcase of ultimates hitting lots of people or killing spree from a Dwarf turret or a stationary bastion. Overall really, I like the game but I'm fearing getting caught in what made me leave LoL and DotA for Fighting games. I can't handle having to carry people who don't give a crap... =/

but in beta with the quick play only stuff you are kinda stuck with all types. Also bastion is super easy to kill and super bad if his team doesnt play around him and you know what to do. He is very weak overall against smart teams. Theres just so many people who dont know the game atm that hes very easy to pull off. He's absolutely miserable in coordinated play because he can only shoot 1 person at a time, doesnt move, and gets bursted super fast - that plus high spread means range destroys him, hanzo and widow shoulder peeking him kill him in 2 shots.

I still screw up all of the time. But man, when things are clicking, he can make some of the sickest plays.

I know but so is engineer in TF2, and that didn't stop me from being salty about them when a turret randomly kills me. :p Ranked unlocks at lvl 25 right ? I guess I'll have to go throught that and see.

Sucks that whenever I switch that's when my team ends up actually killing the thing I couldn't handle and then we're 2 hanzos and 1 widowmaker and their bastion switched to something else and I'm useless ![]() phara's good too but more important is an overall well balanced comp and making friends so add ppl you really like and you are good to go I have a number of ppl i really like to play with from beta already ![]()

Also felt stupid when I set my Tornbjörn turret to high ground on the first defense point and their Widowmaker destroyed it from other side of the map. Certainly felt stupid when a Reinhardt charged half of my team including me down from a cliff. I do wish that when attacking people would learn to fucking regroup when there's a bigger wipe instead of running to their deaths 1 by 1.

He has almost no experience with shooters or action games, but playing together is still a lot better than playing alone with randoms. I need constant communication in my fps games - I'm used to it from CS, MWO and Battlefield - but the few times I borrowed a close beta account and played alone, I was the only one talking and the others were completely silent and most of the time didn't even seem to listen. With a friend, I can at least communicate with him. I can't believe that there are people who don't want to talk in a team based game. You need to coordinate, have a plan (even if it's simple), review your effectiveness as a team and try to react, call incoming targets and enemy movement, set priority targets etc. etc. - basically there should be almost constant radio chatter. I'm giving the game one more chance to convince me but this will need to be one heck of a good time, because to me this is a typical 20€-max multiplayer game and I just can't justify paying 40€ for it unless I get absolutely hooked and want to play more at all cost. Especially since I would have to give up playing another game regularly because I only have so much time. When I'm in a state next week on tuesday morning. where I don't want to play anything else and all my thoughts revolve around Overwatch, then I'll probably buy it.

I want to chill out and enjoy some video games. If I wanted serious comms I would find a premade. Heck before I started up my first game I disabled voice audio so I didn't have to annoyed by the potential of a 12y old COD baby spamming yo mama jokes.

I think it's a lot easier and relaxing to play if someone's calling the shots. You don't have to think so much for yourself and you can focus on following orders and the gunplay. Of course it's quite stressful to be the team leader/shotcaller but someone has to do it and if you're on the benefitting side it's easytime and you'll stomp most teams without coordination even if you don't tryhard/give 100%.
