I don't know if you guys have assigned spots in the fight but a lot of your ranged was running needlessly when they were not focused by hunger for life. Grats on the kill though! Good luck on the next bosses I hear they are somewhat easier than Gorefiend =D. | ||

Half of our ranged are hunters, all are inside at some point. We have ~42-56% uptime on sniper training - i knew it would be beyond terrible because of the movement, but i was thinking more like 70%. It could be raised a lot with focusing on it but you'd still run around a lot on gorefiend. Two of us have ~55% uptime on sniper training, yet ~82'nd percentile log on the first kill. Just looking around, there are guys in the top 100 of the logs with similar or less uptime, a ton of people with around there and then there are those who obviously focused on it and got like 75% - maybe even people who are not sacrificing to go inside, or the kill is handled fine and they can just stand there I googled a little to check that stuff and actually found a ton of really useful functions on the logs. I had no idea the t18 2p was giving me that much uptime on Rapid Fire (over 9% on gorefiend in a 9 minute fight) even though i have a weakaura to show when it's up. I'l be checking actual uptimes for sniper training on a ton of fights now. I'm sure stuff is really bad sometimes but it will improve! | ||

205-215 again running around when he doesn't have to. Jaxx almost dies actually because of people running in range of him and the aoe shadow explosion. 445-500 This was a really good spot where it looked like everyone was comfortable and didn't move outside of the person with the add on them. Also right at the end someone runs right next to him and makes him take like 300k damage. 720-735 He runs from blue to star, to then just run back to blue. Could have saved some movement by side stepping the one thing he was avoiding. This is just a few but overall as you get more kills this gets better and better. Really awesome job to get the kill with a DC =). | ||

135-150 Had a bunch of people running around in the middle with only 1 add up. 4 people took that aoe burst which was a big amount of damage (although no one died). Also it looked like Jaxx wasn't attacking but he could have been waiting for adds 205-215 again running around when he doesn't have to. Jaxx almost dies actually because of people running in range of him and the aoe shadow explosion. Yeah that happens. It's actually very few people taking the damage from that AOE's regularly, mainly the shaman healers but one of them left and the other will improve on it. Jaxx is aware that he is sometimes just standing there watching people sometimes ![]() Also right at the end someone runs right next to him and makes him take like 300k damage. Hits of that magnitude happen a few times because Touch of Doom does up to ~260k damage depending on how close you are to it, with huge range. 3 of them happen at the same time, so they can project a 300k hit a good fraction of the way across the room if they're all in similar places. It's good to have people move away or use a few light personal cooldowns as the touch of dooms will drop but that's not one of the higher priorities in the fight. There's so much optimization to do which is good and bad at the same time, but having people not take 5-10 hits of the swirly AOE in one fight should be fixed very soon because it's important and randomly taking a hit for over half of your HP that's avoidable 95% of the time is bad, a single instance of bad luck/timing with other damage can wipe the fight because a healer did that we went socrethar today and fairly easily killed it! Got two healer trinkets and.. this ![]() ^Holy fuck. raid week extended 2 more days too because we have seemingly 20+ people who want to go for Iskar | ||

I take ~1.23x less damage from AOE and that's actually very significant in several mythic fights Nelf racial still really buggy since i started playing nelf again at 6.1 release (i don't know how long before) and robbing me of 1% crit a lot of the time where it should be up, it bounces between haste and crit seemingly at random when you walk into the garrison or into another part of tanaan or respawn even though the server time hasn't changed. | ||
