Sure, there's all kinds of other stuff wrong with scaling too, but at it's core it's that people want to notice the effect of a new item, not just in their looks, but in their abilities, and as long as you give people a % upgrade it will end up exploding after a while.

I really don't like the impact of the squish on 1-90 content though. They could probably adjust it - but i've felt this entire time like my character was 15 levels higher than it actually was. If dungeons didn't give most of their exp from the trigger when you finish them, i might even be solo farming appropriate level dungeons at this point cause i just blow everything up and 95% of the time when questing is spent running between mobs because i globaled that one and the other one is like, all the way over there first world problems: questing becomes really boring when you kill stuff way too slowly or too quickly

So giving someone a 10 DPS increase from an item in MC was the bees knees. However, that 10 DPS is not as impressive in Kharazan, and less still at the end of Sunwell, so upgrades gave progressively more DPS to ensure that every 10 ilevels or so for each item gives approx. X% DPS upgrade. Skip forward 4 expansions, and you end up with people doing 200k DPS. My point is that using some kind of polynomial instead of an exponential means they can control the scaling much more easily and prevent numbers from blowing up like they did in mop and like they are doing now

My HP is huge and Kill Shot restores thousands of health so all of the dungeons are probably soloable. I took a shot at the Fel Reaver as level 61 but i only got about 1/5'th of it's health because it runs like twice as fast as a hunter with aspect of the cheetah and squished me :D Hunter feels alright but there's shockingly few buttons 1-59 and maybe until WOD, a lot of the stuff like Hunter's Mark and Volley are gone too which is weird. Multi-shot was god awful until the level ~45ish passive unlock (you needed to hit like 14 targets for it to be worth casting) but with level ~45-60+ it's much better, it's still not as fun as old Volley though :D No aspects and no melee at all will be weird for a while. The range you can actually hit stuff with ranged attack is like 1.5x bigger with no dead zone and a bit further reach, and there's literally no reason to stand still because everything like Aimed Shot just casts while moving. I wasn't aware of that even after raiding with MM hunters Hunters do ludicrous damage with almost 0 movement penalty. It's a bit dumb tbh.

gz, is that the orange fiery lightsabery sword? I think i used to have one of those on my gnome mage. Maybe i got a blue one with similar model/effect Patch 3.0.2 (14-Oct-2008): This ability has been re-designed. Now leaps the Hunter backwards up to 13 yards. 30 second cooldown. Lol now it has 1/3'rd of the cooldown and goes twice as far if you take the talent and glyph. Much fun :D

Also, wiped on 10% on mythic Darmac on our 4th attempt. Real shame we didn't kill him as I feel my guild is unstable as fuck right now and our whole mythic lineup depends on the same 20 people showing up over and over again. Oh, and is it just our guild who has absolutely zero luck with pala/priest/warlock tokens? Every other token is going out for "maybe WF, but I already have 4piece" and I have one piece. One fucking piece.

Darmac is pretty much a cakewalk till that last 10% though so sadly you're gonna see that wiping point a lot You'll also see 40% wipes on hans / Franz a lot because blizzard is fucking awful and can't fix the dumb ass visual bugs between the stamper / smart stamper phase T_T Edit: so I just did the spines of arak chain involving wrathion on an alt... what the hell happened to the dude and why is there only one quest line in the entire expansion hinting at his existence.

Pal can get buy in compos like juggle ( basically where you have a feral, a hpal is good because a rdruid is not ideal ) but in the end, Hpal sucks in pvp, really. They suffer a big issue of black/white syndrome. They have enormous healing during wings, probably more than what you'll usually need, but outside of wings they heal for peanuts. Makes them really frustrating to play with and as.

Blizz is probably setting him up for the next expansion/surprise end tier content since + Show Spoiler + the arrival of the burning legion seems imminent considering Gul'dan is head of the iron horde now. Didn't Wrathion always talk about preparing Azeroth for the return of the burning legion? Well, here's his chance. I'm curious, which one would you do as 3/10 mythic: Oregorger or Flamebender? Considering your healers are pretty much your raid's best asset, DPS is kinda meh.

Depends if you want tier or nice trinket off oregorger.

I'd go oregorger > beastlord > hans > flame By the time your doing mythic bosses the entire raid should just about be dekced in 4set/2set anyway, so the only difference is extra stats on the items.

Considering your healers are pretty much your raid's best asset, DPS is kinda meh. Probably it'd be interesting to see what blizzard do with him I guess. Flamebender is literally just a healer fight where you pray your healers are good enough to heal through the fixate damage while the dps cleave everything down. Oregorger requires communication and people actually knowing tactics so its much harder On March 09 2015 12:32 bo1b wrote: Imo oregorger is the easiest mythic boss in the raid. See I have the exact opposite opinion as a healer and we went - Beastlord > hans > Flame > ore but yeah by time you do mythic its literally just tiny stat increases gear wise.
