Blood princes wasn't quite the same because afaik basically anyone ranged could do that in their normal gear; for maulgar you had to like stack +stam greens to have as much hp as humanly possible and spam spellsteal. Same with Illidari council. | ||

I remember the mage who got to tank in our guild was also always really excited about it. Us warlocks just prayed the RNG god was with us for the enslave demon resists  | ||

Trying to decide if it's worth my time to complete that legendary cloak... Currently I'm at 9/20 Secrets of the Empire. After that, I think I need 12 more items from SoO and the last six bosses of the Thunder King one. Then I have to do some single player scenarios? Then I need to kill all four Celestials, is that right? Ugh. | ||

Its something you can work for if you want a goal as a non raider but there is no value beyond that for you. If you are even somewhat serious about raiding its an obvious must have. | ||

It's worth it if you want to gear your alts is all i can say xd The ability to then travel over the bridge on the Timeless isle makes it awesome for alt gearing. I landed 3 items from the Boss you do with legendary cloak all warforged 550 ilvl or something silly? I forget what it actually is, but i got 3 pieces in 2 weeks on my tank took it from 500k to 650k hp lol Other than that like Grom said unless your raiding it has 0 use xD | ||

IIRC (it's a long time ago) you just had to communicate when the buff was wearing off and have a healer drop a big heal (Nature's swiftness made it easy) as the mage would only take one full damage nuke before they could spell steal again. It was basically one damage spike per two minutes, and you knew exactly when it was coming. We were probably using a frost mage mind, so with barrier and fire ward as well as a priest shield half of it would just be absorbed. | ||
