There will not be extra stamina on tank items, atleast not on the armor pieces.
Also Avoidance as a stat reduces AoE dmg taken and has nothing to do with the current Dodge/Parry.
There will be no real "tanking" stats on armor pieces tho some other items like rings/necks will have bonus armor.

you forgot Holy paladins. they want the same thing aswell.
There are basicly only 3 types of armor in WoD. Plate/Leather/Cloth.
But when you look at it your actually more likely to get gear in this model that before. You used to have 4 different Plate Bracers drop. You had to hope that your type dropped and then you competed with the specs who shared that item. But you could get unlucky and get 8 holy bracers in a row without having an actual holy pala. Now when a bracer drops it will always be usable by you. Sure it might not have the ideal stat combination of crit/haste ect but its still better then int bracers for a DK.
What will likely happen is that guilds in a new tier will assign there loot based on ideal stats, so you try and match the best combination to the spec that wants those stats and some will get sub optimal combinations who then wait for the next raid and a new set of drops to get a better upgrade.
It will lead to more upgrades as you farm content because of the greater stat variance while reducing a lot of gearing complications.
There are no real caps on stats anymore (aside from spirit for mana users and haste for energy/rune regen) because Dots/Hots now get partial ticks between breakpoints. So you just have a stat priority list of for example Crit>Haste>Mastery and you replace lesser pieces as better onces drop.

So... Does anyone want to start fresh on a new server? Might be fun to get in a guild together and level it in time for WoD. Might even buy a US account if there is more interest there. 15 dollar for all games + 1 month is a pretty good deal, so why not.

Hell come to Twisting Nether! I can't say i will level with you though but i would be up for making a guild for WoD! I need to get a guild by the new expansion as i want to raid properly again and i'd be more than happy to casually raid with TL members. Instead of what i was going to do and probably go semi hardcore and do 4 nights a week or something stupid xD
Would be cool if we could set something up!
Twisting Nether is where ermm my 7/8 level 90s are so could be cool :D
But i would openly make an instant 90 on another server if was enough interest :D

I really think TL should organize a guild on a server. I'm on Bleeding Hollow and looking to make a server change for my main.

I'm on US and was thinking about getting back into it through a new account and I didn't know it was that cheap now. Forgot about the deals. So I might be interested, but don't quote me on that.

I just got scroll of resurrected. My main is currently on Archimonde, but the old old guild I was with is on Spinebreaker and was thinking of switching back there... although people tell me Spinebreaker is rather dead atm.

I honestly don't really care what server we join. For me it is just nice to have a friendly guild who has the same interests in eSports as me

Have someone send you a scroll of resurrection to get a free upgrade to Cata. You get a free 80 and realm transfer out of it too, and the sender gets a spectral mount (and maybe some free gametime? not sure).

I wonder if there's any way we can get Blizzard to discount a group of realm transfers if we get the support of TL in making a TL guild somewhere. My two mains are on Akama, and though the server is not exactly bustling, my guild is alive and well and I really cannot afford the 50 bucks needed to move two characters. Doubtful, I know, but I can dream

Eh i'm already playing on Sylvanas EU with my gf and some old guildmates so i won't be joining you guys any time soon 
Also, sucks about GC. I really liked the guy, he truly had the patience of a saint to put up with all that crap and answer as clearly as he always did.
