pulled last boss a few times, didnt have the dps to get through the first intermission cleanly, called it a day fights are okay i guess, bit boring as melee dps. although im glad, its the first content in 10 years i ever melee dps'd (got a guaranteed mythic raidspot out of it so...). as melee you just tunnel the boss on every single fight. im atleast a bit happy that i get to be the flamethrower guy on that fungus boss. ranges have lots of shit to do though. running a lot, many target swaps, debuff management... kinda glad im not playing my warlock right now. im too old for this shit. got a neck from droz, got the weapon from the bubble/orb boss (sixth). no excuse to not do dps anymore =(

PI is always a strong solid choice, Twisted fate seems to be quite of use when there are adds and Shadow Insight I am unsure about. Seems to suck with CoP dotweaving SI is currently useless. PI can be used on Kargath and Butcher, as always, the length of the fight determines the strength of PI a lot but in a single target fight where you've around 30% ToF uptime PI is a valid choice.

Mages and warriors are doing quite a bit better then I expected initially.

TBC > Cata/WOD > WOTLK >>> Pandaria Didn't actually run Panda 5-man hc's, but i got to the dungeons post-stat-squish, and at appropriate level, they were literally soloable on my death knight without much trouble (who had no raid gear) and i heard lots of complaints for it being the easiest expansion (short of mythic raids)

Frost was always going to do decently, even according to sims. It's actually an ok spec performance wise, just frustrating to play since it's so bursty and tied to cd's, plus none likes the fact that it's the only viable choice for, well, everything. Fire and Arcane aren't viable compared to Frost because either they don't do any damage (fire) or aren't mobile enough (arcane), which was also easily predictable. https://www.warcraftlogs.com/statistics/6#difficulty=4&dataset=100 https://www.warcraftlogs.com/statistics/6#difficulty=3&dataset=100 I'm actually very impressed by the ~400 brave souls that had the balls to show up in a raid in fire spec, doing 70% dps of everyone else at best. Takes balls to do that.

The log was also corrupted when I tried to upload it to WCL, which further suggests something wasn't working properly during the fight.

It's pretty damn impossible to find a normal group, though, when they all want 650+ ilvl for the first boss. I think I've spent about four hours this morning just refreshing the raid finder. I don't think people realize that Normal is Flex, and they still think it's actually the normal raiding mode (which is now Heroic).
