It's not supposed to be good on single targets, but currently it is. Thank god.

Keeping in mind I have no pvp trinket at the moment, I was thinking either 1) PvP trinket > PvP 'off'trinket (basically 1750 honor for 10% less dmg taken) > Bow > whatever I lack from strongboxes 2) PvP trinket > Bow > PvP 'off'trinket > whatever I lack from strongboxes 3) Bow > PvP trinket > PvP 'off'trinket > whatever I lack from strongboxes Thoughts? I believe weapon always gives you the biggest dps increase, which is probably the one I'd want over a boring 10% less damage taken.

Worse is a strong word for completely useless unless there is 8+ targets getting hit by fire n brimstone. As it stands rain of fire may as well be removed from action bars. I don't know if you understand the way embers work either, as rof was like 40% of embers generated, meaning charred remains is also the single target talent. One of the reasons it was buffed up btw was so there was some kind of damage being dealt while moving. Right now a resto druid could spam moonfire and do more dps on the move then a destro lock

RoF is still fine for AoE packs since it's 1 GCD for a small amount of damage on top of everything else you're doing. All this nerf really does is make MF useless again and Charred Remains viable.

I'm at 632 ilvl, and my rof is ticking for 500 or so, it'd be more damage to single target everything lol. Idk how much raid testing you did if you think two globals is enough for the movement present in highmaul and particularly blackrock, but I'm assuming not much. KJC is a pretty noticeable dps loss. I don't think you've played much destro at all, if any in this expansion if you really think the removal of embers from rof isn't an enormous nerf.

I've been playing Charred Remains destro, so it really doesn't affect me. I swapped to Aff though because I really disliked keeping RoF up on single targets and having to use MF to get max dps, it just seemed fucking dumb. If I want to refresh DoTs, I'll play affliction. I think Aff is in a pretty good spot right now, just 0 AoE presence because seed is fucking horrible.

Buffs and Nerfs funny, now all the silly people who went into Gladiator spec as warrior thinking they are going to raid the first tier in it are sadly mistaken. Arms warrior with 630ilvl is the easiest dps class you have in the game and is ahead of glad tanks easily at least i am when i play vs the guy in guild. Fury still more fun for me but i need a 2nd 2 hander before i go back there. Like Teo said the fire "buff" is quite hilarious really, it's like they have buffed it because they know at the end of this tier it will be a huge buff. However right now it still doesn't make you want to switch to fire, oh well.

Dont think TG will be good till 2nd or 3rd raid tier though, SMF will probably be better till you get more gear to make TG hit a metric fuckton harder

![]() ![]() As you can see gearing for both isn't as hard as it seems. Just multistrike is ahead of mastery by a bit on Arms. I will be going Fury as soon as i get a 2nd two hander and i feel i will be more than average on dps.
