I just finished the first zone (Frostwhatever) with the cutscene where you defend the canyon from the Iron Horde. I have to say, Blizzard has outdone themselves. The entire zone breathes atmosphere and you feel like you're actually part of the story and battle against the Iron Horde. Though the lag and phasing issues have ruined the immersion somewhat, I think this (expansion but at least the zone) is some of the finest work they've ever done in terms of zone design.
Every zone is like that this expansion, it's awesome.
Every zone was gorgeous, and all but one was something I plan on doing numerous times (I really hated Talador while rushing my Priest yesterday, maybe it'll be more fun when all the far apart quests aren't really an "issue")
I was positively surprised by Talador. The preview on mmo-champ month ago made me skeptical but the colours are awesome. Felt a bit like Grizzly Hills and that was a beautiful zone.

Well, I can say with confidence that the opening of the expansion from the "you might not be able to return immediately"-confimation to the freeing of Gul'Dan was some of the most embarrassing stuff Blizzard's writers have come up with so far. It's fortunate that the zone plotlines are decent enough, because I suddenly felt a bit unsure about my purchase. Doign menial tasks while every NPC and their mother keeps telling you how heroic and awesome you are and how the fate of the world depends on you aside, the absolute worst part of that opening was that they ruined the part that made going through the dark portal in TBC so great: They didn't let you walk through the damn portal. It sounds insignificant, but there's a huge difference in getting you steer your character into the portal vs watching a cutscene and suddenly you're on the other side.
Anyone knows if you can change followers? I got a lot of green who i probably wont waste much time leveling up, and wanna trade them later for rare and epic ones.

you can have 20/25 with barrack active ones. you can however make a follower inactive so you can collect all without issues.
Also note that once they are 100 a follower will keep gaining experience and they will upgrade to rare/epic so in the end all your followers should become epic. It will just take a while
When disenchanting stuff at the garrison (or is it from work order? I think it's from the work order, converting mats) there's a chance to get a sorcerous <element> like air, fire, water, earth etc. Some of them are selling for 1k on my server and i've already got three by chance
I woke up, immediately clicked on WoW so that I could start working my way down a queue if there was one, and see there is maintenance for another three hours. You deserve an achievement every time you log in to your toon.

If you can't play the game, there is not much else to talk about.
Except that's not really why. Whenever things do work (admittedly, it doesn't happen that often) I haven't been able to find a single thing wrong with WoD yet. (Though I'm lucky I play a class/specc affected least by pruning, I heard a friend refer to his priest as 'bullshit')
Wait til your friend hits 100 if he's shadow, fucking weird class to play right now.
I woke up at 11am for server restart after maintenance, started queu'ing, 2500 people on Stormscale. Had to leave for 2 hours, got back, was dc'ed from queue. Queue'ed again, 4500th.

Thats the end boss for this expansion. Be happy, finally something to do.
After hitting 92 and getting my first perk, I noticed that every time I log in it has changed to a different perk than the one I got when I dinged. Weird bug lol? Not that big a deal I suppose, just really strange.

DotWeaving is one of the best rotations shadow has ever had, the normal CoP with MS, MB, DP 3 button arcane mage is something no one wanted and gladly blizz is fine with dotweave.
