About diplomacy: Trading is binding. Diplomacy is non-binding details: + Show Spoiler + Trading is any deal that exclusively involves transfer of gems, gold, slaves, items, and, for the sake of hilarity, commanders by the use of seduction. All these deals are binding and if they involve 1+ turn delay and an unfortunate incident (such as a random event) preventing the deal from being finalized, even after one party sent the materials as agreed, there is a reasonable expectation either of compensation or sending those materials back. Diplomacy contains but is not limited to peace deals, war cooperation, border negotiations and province trading. It is not recommended to mix diplomacy and trading, any deal that contains an element of diplomacy is considered non-binding. If I offer you 50 gems if you let me capture a cap province, I'm not obligated to send you those gems after I take the province and neither are you obligated to give me the province after I send you the gems. Diplomacy and trades can be discussed through in-game messages, skype or any other way, including telepathy. About turn timer and leaving: The initial turn timer is going to be 24 hours and it will be lengthened during the course of the game, probably around the 3rd year or so, according to players' needs. Extensions will be given upon a reasonable request, but do not make a habit of it. In case of a longer leave, make a serious effort of finding a substitute or a replacement player. The UW patch is expected to hit during the course of the game and a long extension will be given both for llamaserver to get it's stuff together and for players to adjust to the changes. In case of an unannounced leave or a serious streak of stalls the player might be kicked from the game and replaced. You are not allowed to go AI yourself without consulting the admin (me, so far) first and a short extension might be given if there's a possibility of finding a replacement. About bugs: If a game-breaking bug is discovered, you are not allowed to use it (something like the old Transformation glitch). In case of a very serious bug being discovered, it is up to the admin and the players to decide whether its use is acceptable or not. Any small(ish) bugs, glitches and exploits known about at the start of the game and not explicitly mentioned can be presumed to be allowed and fair game. + Show Spoiler + Forbidden bugs/glitches/exploits Anything which abuses the UI through the use of hotkeys (especially but not limited to UW blood hunting and sieged forts bloodhunting) Scripting of undisciplined units. I'll repeat what i said before signing up: I'm at glastonbury festival late june, so i'll be afk for roughly afternoon/evening of tuesday the 23rd to some point monday the 29th~ Other then that stuff sounds good ^^ | ||
