I don't usually post here but I just had to vent my frustration somewhere.
I just spent more than 300 stamina on thursday and friday dungeon combined, and not counting invades, I only had 1 dragon fruit drop on the last floor, and no dub mythlit at all.
For context, I've ran Thursday dungeon 17 times and Friday dungeon 6 times. In the end, I walk away with 4 dragon fruit and 1 dub mythlit, all but one of them being from invades. Even with x2 drops, the drop rate for the fruit/mythlit is just downright disgusting (in fact x2 is basically useless.. I just got most of my drops from invades -_-). Now I fully realize this is not at all a large enough sample size to determine actual drop rates, but I want to ask other people's experiences with the Wednesday-Friday dungeon: What is the approximate drop rate for the 'boss' of these dungeons?
edit: quick google-fu tells me this is not uncommon. -_- Maybe I should be spending my stamina advancing my dungeons instead??

You got rng'd, plain and simple. I got 1 dragon fruit from 1 run of Thursday, and 4 dub myth (1 from invade) in 4 runs on Friday.
x2 is not useless. It guarantees a drop (not necessarily a rare drop though) on the boss level. If you do the dungeons outside of x2, there's a chance that nothing can drop.
By the way, if there's tons of results on google about people getting wrecked by daily dungeons, it's probably because people love complaining about rng. The rare drop rate honestly isn't that bad in my experience.

Everything on the same floor has the same drop rate, so for those boss floors the chance of the dragon fruit or dub mythlit is 33% if it's x2, 17% if it's not. Invade rate is unknown, my best guess is that it's around 10% for the dungeon.
Weekday dungeons are extremely inefficient, one of the first mid game goals you should have is to advance through the normal/technical dungeons so that you can farm the evo materials from there and never have to run those weekday dungeons again.
|
I do find the drop rate to be absolutely frustrating, but I don't really run those dungeons anymore unless I *must* have that one evo material. As rsvp said, the normal/technical dungeons is the way to go. The drop rate/stamina is much worst, but you're getting lots of fodder and experience. If you haven't seen this guide yet, I would suggest doing something very similar. It made my playing experience much more pleasant.
|
Thanks for the link to the guide, it's a very good read. Though I'm getting more use out of the mid game guide atm
I know I was getting trolled by the RNG drop rates, people around me were getting multiple drops with far less runs. I just needed to vent, lol.
I think most players here are at the late game stages of the game. I'm kinda struggling in the mid game from trying to keep myself from thinning out. There's just too much to do everyday and not enough stamina. Then I get wreck'd by the drop rates like this, so it kinda throws my planning out of whack :/

I could use some suggestions for my situation.
A while back, I was trying to flash something onto my android. This requires a factory reset. I had multiple attempts so I factory reset multiple times. Unfortunately, when you factory reset, it also resets a certain thing called android ID. Little did I know at the time, that PAD needed a constant android ID to run. I saved all of my secret code stuff, is there any chance of getting my lvl 30+ account back?
Thanks in advance.

Surely Gungho has some sort of support you can contact? Otherwise there wouldn't be much point in having that secret code.

Did you have any good monsters? Unless you had a top tier REM roll I wouldn't bother, you can get back to lvl 30+ in a few hours.

6.5.2 patch notes: http://www.puzzledragonx.com/en/news.asp?nid=95
You can now select your friend's current leader or their Team 1 leader as your helper. That's cool, no need to keep switching leaders for your friends.
I just noticed I have a bunch or red attackers on my team. 2x Kagusuchi, 2x Leilan, 1xCao Cao. Is a 3x attacker team viable for the long run?

Cao Cao is definitely a viable lead for running descends, although he is much better on JP due to the availability of notGigas and certain skillups.
On other servers, I would probably run Cao Cao/Ares/Freyr/Dino Rider/Leilan/Cao Cao or something similar.

Just curious what site should I be checking to know maintenance schedules ahead of time?
Kinda got screwed tonight since I was saving up stamina to play thursday dungeon. 1 hr before date switches over, 8 hour maintenance hits :/

Thanks
I don't use facebook and I always preferred the wikia to puzzledragonx, mostly because it's easier for me to read dungeon layouts on the wikia site. Guess I'll be making an effort to switch over.

I prefer the dungeon layout of wikia too, but nothing beats the home page of puzzledragonx.

pdx is much better organized and detailed
on the other hand, nooooooooooooooo I don't have a keeper of rainbow stored...

3. 『Helper' monster choices will increase above Rank 120
![[image loading]](http://i.imgur.com/V8EPo0U.jpg)
Upon reaching Rank 120, you are now able to select a Friend's Team 1 Leader in addition to the Leader they've used most recently.
This new system works as follows:
The leader monster currently being used by the friend will be set to 1, and the leader monster belonging to the player's first team will have a 2 displayed.
![[image loading]](http://i.imgur.com/i7CS5um.jpg)
If the team used by the friend is "Team 1", the leader monster of "Team 1" will be listed twice in the helper selection screen.
*This feature becomes available at Rank 120. *This feature does not allow players to bring two Helpers into battle, but it does offer more options for the player to choose from. *Two monsters will be displayed for each friend in the helper selection screen, but after selecting one and the battle ends, both monsters of that friend will not display for a set time.
4. Monster Box Maximum Capacity Increase
The maximum capacity of the Monster Box will increase from 1,000 to 1,100.
5. Select Awoken Skills Enhanced
"HP Enhanced", "ATK Enhanced", and "RCV Enhanced" Awoken Skills will become even more powerful.
![[image loading]](http://i.imgur.com/Ixp5lQZ.png)
6. Special Dungeon Stamina Requirements
If the player's Max Stamina is below the amount required to enter a dungeon, that dungeon is no longer displayed in the Special Dungeon Menu.
*The dungeon will be displayed after the player's rank has increased to a point at which their Max Stamina is sufficient to enter the dungeon. *For Normal Dungeons and Technical Dungeons, the display criteria is the same as before.
7. Bug Fixes Bug fixes and other adjustments have been included to help improve game experience.

Something I have always been curious about -- how do you guys deal with hidden orb situations? I was trying out Izanami Descended! and died on the first floor because I couldn't remember a big enough combo before my orbs were hidden.

Strat for Floor 1 Yomi goddess is: Turn 1 zigzag an orb around quickly to reveal all the orbs. Try and clear at least 1 set of bad orb colors. Turn 2 kill 1. Turn 3-4 Kill the other.
Other tips: You click on orbs without moving them to check them. Starting off your reveal with a color you want to clear can help. If it's not a floor 1/turn 1 hidden orbs you can setup combos in advance sometimes.
