Good question.
I don't have liu bei. I don't have many holes in my collection but he's one of them and I didn't roll one this godfest naturally. I've got everything else... Dupe verdandi... Dupe GZL... Delgado... Max skill chu cu etc etc. If I go balance verdandi I have plenty of options... But loss out on the triple tpa of liu bei as well as his decent synergy with GZL.
Man the few things I'm missing is almost crippling in its annoyance. Still no dmeta, rgy, lu bu, liu bei.... But ronia which I never use I've pulled 6...one of which I fed away. Almost makes me gunshy with godfest because the shit I need refuses to show these days.

Thanks. If I had to reroll for a starting god between these gods, which one would you recommend? I played a kirin team about a year or two ago but lost the backup so I have start from scratch. Edit: I would prefer a roll that challenges your puzzling skills to bring out their potential.

well i got me a devil lead now tacking on to this. Now that i have my primary team done (just need skillups and +eggs), what should i work on? I have a lot of possible options and avenues to go but i don't have a firm idea of what to work on. https://www.padherder.com/user/computerlove/ is my padherder, and i'm open to any suggestions for working on new teams while I +egg my main one.
You have a good healer team with LMeta DQ Valk Venus SQ (can be replaced by Sandal), that's prob your best bet for an alternative team.
Your devil sub is not bad, but not great either with Lubu Haku Sephone. Lubu is tough to use in end game devil team without Pando, and you will need some sort of dark damage boost. You can make it work, but I think without some better sub it will have lower ceiling than LMeta.

The best starter out of these is probably DQXQ and Lubu (and Ronia of course). Lubu is definitely not challenging, and if you can use Kirin decently neither is DQXQ really. Your best bet is go for a Light Kali from godfest exclusive. Dark kali is as well but she is really suffering.

Light Kali is basically the best bet here. Takes skill to use right and has a near limitless ceiling.
Dark Kali is also decent but she's pretty much a worse L Kali especially with L Kali having ult that gives the same multiplier.
Dqxq would be your only other challenging lead in this God fest.

Definitely roll for Lkali, especially for when her awoken evo comes to NA (6x multiplier if you hit 6 combos). Or you can go savant tier and roll an anubis or ra (like i have on JP )

Ra is pretty cool but L kali is a very solid choice! both have uevo's coming to NA soon

Thanks to all for the advice. It seems like we've got concensus that Lkali is the optimal choice.

I would love to get an anubis or ra. They'll keep me interested enough to continue to improve my puzzling skills. Anubis especially could be difficult enough such that I could probably never reach his full potential.
Btw, how often do you hit 8+ combos? I average maybe 5-6 atm and what number of +time awakenings would you need to reliably hit 8+?
|
reliably hit 8 is REALLY tough. it's easy to hit 5 consistently, but after that it becomes exponentially harder as there are less easy combos. Hit 6 consistently you'd be able to do pretty much everything with a good team. You have to be god tier to hit 8 consistently, even with 6~ time extend.
Having played over 1yr+ I don't remember ever hit an 8 combo in a 6 color dungeon without active or skyfall (just combo from board) once.
Though have to note: average 6 combo and hit 6 consistently are completely different thing.
|
I try my best to hit all possible combos on the board, but you'll find you end up with a 6~7 combo board quite often :l for those where you have 5 of a color you wanna aim to have the nonmatched two together when you finish matching the others on the board so you have a higher chance of a skyfall but in my opinion I think hitting 8+ consistently requires luck.

Take note of what this guy said.
Averaging 6 includes sky falls. Hitting 6 means that you have 6 on the board before sky falls.
You start noticing considerable sky fall combos after you hit 5 consistently. I think you can comfortably use D/L Anubis once you hit 6 consistently as that almost always gives you 8 through sky falls. One you hit 7 consistently 10 combos on average isn't rare anymore.
Game starts to get rough when you aim for 6 consistently because combos get more complex. Once you hit 7 consistently you're really really good and can play whatever team you want.
I hit 6 very consistently.
I still don't hit 7 very consistently but that has a lot to do with the fact that I play two prong teams which tends to make the boards more complicated... And a creature with 2 2 prongs is worth something like 7 linked orbs or something insane so two prong takes priority.
If i play the dubby way through cascading the average combo tends to go way way up. You can seriously start averaging over 10 combos on 7 floor dungeons. Takes awhile to get down and I'm still not terribly quick with it.
Hitting 8 starts being board selective and 9/10 can be often flat impossible. I think most people are pretty satisfied once they start hitting 6, especially if they two prong. Most of the board is cleared at the point.

I wish I can consistently hit 6... I'm close enough to be tempted to Okuni yet far enough to make it really frustrating...
NA stream is very entertaining in its own train wreck kind of way lol
