Hello Big Brother Microsoft! Its sorta sad that people will still buy this when Microsoft decide to implement stupid shit like this. I hope to god this system flops hard.

What made them delusional enough to think they will be able to sell a billion - except the fact that they are banking on units malfunctioning, sue-worthy enough, in itself - of this $1000 subscription-based, always-online, remote controller.

FIFA is 60+% in Europe when you consider the sales. So different sport games sell in different parts of the world. Games sure. But i want to watch NFL in germany =D So the real question is can i watch this with xbox gold or i need an season pass too q.q When NFL its availbable for europe people. MS says he have deals for europe people too.

The Xbox just functions as a means to combine everything and switch seemlessly between it. I guarantee you in Germany you're going to need Sky Sport and to watch NFL though your Xbox . And for anything international movie/series related you're going to have to suffer through the in most cases obnoxious dubbing Germany gets. If it works at all which probably will also take at least 1-2 years after launch.

Oh, I hadn't actually payed much attention to the announcement, but when I heard the camera wasn't optional that was my plan if I picked one up to play with my younger brother. ![]() This is just creepy.

Big brother Microsoft indeed. Doesn't some of this stuff crossing a huge line? I mean, is forcing someone to be observed by a camera on their videogame console, in their own home, really legal? And if you watch too much stuff on your Xbox One, they will charge you? What the fuck? Not only am I never going to get this console, I will actively warn my family to stay the fuck away from it.

It's like Okay, on one hand, you don't want us watching you. On the other hand, you are okay with using a camera to play games. What about in the middle where the camera watches you do things other than playing games?

After seeing all the extra bits it can do, I actually don't want it. You can keep your CrossBone tbh.

Big Brother Microsoft already starting out with the threats of lawsuits if you violate their "aggressive" policy. People better read the fine print if they are interested in buying a Xbox One. All this control that Microsoft is trying to do just seems outright scary at times. The Kinect itself is just a tool they will use to look into your homes to monitor your activity whenever you want to use the piece of equipment. Furthermore I have been told by a friend that they reserve the right to share the stuff they record with any 3rd party they want to. All in All its a black box from the 80s, be careful people.
