It's hard to give comparative information, because I haven't played any of the other classes beyond level ~20, but I've messed around quite a bit with various spellslinger set ups and rotations so I guess i could try fielding any questions relating to that (or whatever else you want to know) until one of the closed beta testers comes and proves me wrong about everything :p Any questions about spellslinger/adventures/dungeons/leveling/rotations/game functions/whatever just ask away ^^ | ||

Also I just watched this video about PvEing at level 50: If I had to categorize myself I'd be a hardcore-casual player. I consider myself good at games but I will never be the kind of person who raids 5 hours a day 3 days a week wiping over and over again at bosses. I'm not sure how much content will be available to me when I hit 50. On the plus side the PvP side of things seems pretty easy to access at level 50. | ||

After hitting 50 you're probably going to be doing a lot of vet adventures for a while. Vet dungeons need good gear to do effectively, and you won't have a chance of hitting the times needed for attunement without at least a few blues/purples. Getting gold on an adventure gives a guaranteed 1-2 epics (depending on adventure) and it's pretty easy to at least consistently hit silver with randoms, and if you're with a capable group gold is pretty simple on most of them. WotW is really buggy/dumb to get gold on now, but whitevale is super safe golds if you know which bits to avoid, (just go 2-1-1-1-1-1-1-1-1-1-1-1 on options and if you're careful with getting the first mate out of jail it's safe, and gives a good spellslinger epic gun) and siege is quite fast golds as well. I can keep pepole alive as SS healer even though my healer gear is pretty shitty compared to my dps gear (and i'm a really bad healer :p) The Guild/people I'm playing with are all just playing vet adventures for now, both grinding gear, and trying to get enough rep for attunement, (400 dominion rep from every completed adventure, seems the fastest way right now.) We'll probably move on to trying dungeons in a few days, as 2 of us are beloved already, and the rest approaching it. Presuming the heist/mech savvy thingies don't gate us, because medals on adventures are pretty trivial tbh. Also elder gems are stupidly easy to get, you'll be capped way before the week ends if you play even a small amount, dailies give ~13 or so, then every adventure gives another 5-6. (And that's with no rested xp) | ||
