Honestly, I just did put a mod on it, giving me 2kk eddies, some crafting mats and thats that. Bought some cars with that. No reason to grind for hours or buy soda cans or whatever
I was of that mindset while playing, didn't see how it was possible to get the money to buy all the cars. But if you actually complete the achievements (so do all gigs and all police scanner hustles), you get plenty of cash. As soon as you're above a certain level pretty much 50% of enemies start dropping Purple weapons/gear and you can sell them for 5k+ a piece. Money isn't as hard to come by as I first thought.
I gave the Skippy gun back. Served no purpose at this point. Gonna continue on with some more missions. Been stringing this out waiting for the patch notes to drop but I'll just go ahead and finish that game.
Oh yeah, anyone know how to get the stash room in your apartment stocked? Mine is still empty as hell.

Its a specific list of iconic weapons that go in there, I'm sure you can find it on google.
Note that it does take some of the crafting perks to fill it out since a bunch of the weapons needed only drops as plans, not the actual item.

I probably have some in my backpack then. I guess I can get rid of everything I'm not using. Probably disassemble all of the other junk I have sitting in my stash as well to craft the rest of the items.
Will cyberpunk updates happen automatically if you are connected to the internet on your PS5, or will you have to buy the PS Network membership? Thanks for info.

Game updates should happen regardless. The game should prompt you that an update is available, so just watch for that. You can also set your auto-update prefs in the settings menu.
They will fix the game and it will become a future classic. The flawed release won't be forgotten, though. Imho, the game will end up in the same category as Vampire: Bloodlines. Great artistic vision, ground breaking elements, but fundamentally flawed due to a messed up release. (Troika basically died while they were finishing Bloodlines, CDPR still can fix their game.)

Is it ground breaking tho? I agree it had good vision and I enjoyed playing it but I struggle to come up with reasons to call it ground breaking. It doesn't really do anything special that no one has done before and its not 'the best' at anything it does.

The city is ground breaking. I've never seen a city in a game with that many details when it comes to architecture and overall art design. The game also excels at visual storytelling, but it's not a deep RPG like Bloodlines or Disco Elysium. It's a straight forward narrative experience. Gameplay-wise, CP77 certainly is nothing special. It's a solid FPS/RPG mix with balancing issues and bad AI.

Agreed. There's some things that once polished, will push this over the edge. I'm not sure on how deep the cuts were to the game, but there is a lot of things that could be in the game that I think they felt would maybe overwhelm the player. There's enough stuff to do as it is. More would just have people killing time doing nothing lol.
I think the game will stand the test of its release and become something wonderful in the years to come. I look forward to it being patched and fixed. Also, I know we have time before the multiplayer aspect comes along, but anyone wanna start a gang with me?

I can see that yeah, the city looked good and the amount of people walking around certainly helps make it feel more alive then most cities in other games do.

I'm not sure I ever wanna touch this game again. We'll see. Maybe I'm just fed up right know I'm most definitely not buying any paid DLCs in the forseeable future.
If the multiplayer blows me away in reviews, I'd definitely join your gang though

Don't know, this strategy didn't work well for the No Man's Sky, which is still mostly known for its launch and not for what it become.
No Man's Sky is still selling at original retail price and has some of the best DLC out. There's a reason people use that game as a comparison instead of something else. While I don't personally have it, NMS is not a failure of a game.
To each their own though. Either you will continue playing the game or you won't. I intend to enjoy the living hell out of it though. ^_^/

The superficial impression i got of NMS from indirect exposure in lots of different channels is: "Lots of lies during development, bad launch, apparently eventually got better, and is now a game which is fun for people who like its niche"

Well that and the game just won a award where the creator was drunk so lol
