I'm at the very start and there's only one game that raises a stat that I don't need.
Just super train a second pokemon until you have level 3 stuff unlocked

Ok, I'll probably do it on my HM slave (zigzagoon). I wasn't expecting them to make magikarp flop on his side in such a pathetic manner xD. They really put a lot of attention into the details.

I have so many more fire pokemon compared to other types I own. I'm progressing too slowly through the game. Need to find more time to play!

I haven't played since silver/gold, getting back into it with X. Is it still wise to cancel evolutions on most pokemon?. Is there anywhere with quick guides for individual pokemon and what the best way to develop them is(when to evolve, what skill sets work best) without delving into ultra competitive guides(not looking to PVP much/or at least not seriously) or having to look up all their evolutionary stages and compare the skills they learn/don't learn manually. I only have so much time for Pokemon and I'd prefer to play than spend time doing that stuff :D.
+ Show Spoiler +I chose squirtle, does this mean I can't get charmander/bulbasaur outside of trading, I wanted charmander as well, but I had chosen the fire starter from X so I didn't want to overload on fire pokemon

Same but with Fairy... I think I'm just gonna call it quits and become the Fairy type master

Honestly, if you don't plan to delve into PvP you can just beat the game by having pokemon overlevelled. I breezed through the game not caring about the stats of my pokemon as I don't plan to use my ingame party for competitive battling.
As for your spoiler, + Show Spoiler +if you get lucky at the friend safari, I think you can get them to show up there. Outside of that, I think you'd have to trade for them.

I'm having a lot of fun with Wonder Trade. Getting all kinds of pokes from all over the place.

It seems like the Gen 6 equivalent of Magnemite chains for Join Ave visitors in B2W2, since doing global trades in the matter of seconds gets you a lot of Poke Miles very quickly.

Indeed, making ridiculously bad names for pokemon and sending them to people through wonder trade is one of the many joys of life. and you get pokemiles and alternate IDs for lottery while you do it!

I mean, I have too many good Fighting Type Pokemons. I can't decide which one to use lol. I have a Blaziken, a Mienshao, but I really want to use Lucario, or Mega Mewtwo X. Even the Panda guy looks so cool.

trading is so much fun. so easy now

I've got two boxes of modest Gastlies in my mad journey for a shiny one.
But you will be mine, sexy white Mega Gengar. We will be the best of friends.

Still can't think of a competitive team I want to raise up so for now I am just going full Pokedex mode.
There's apparently quite a bunch of Pokemon I missed out on seeing early game.
