XP is good?
The way it works now, the fighting pokemon gets 100% xp, and ALL other pokemon get 50% xp. No wasted xp.

Are EVs spread amongst exp shared pokemon?

Talonflame gets an ability that gives +1 priority on all Flying-type moves. Suddenly the flame bird could have the potential to wreck since it gets priority Brave Bird, Roost and regular Swords Dance to get its attack to a good level.

really!? thats even worse then I was expecting. doesn't that make the game way too easy or is it accounted for?

And that's even with the EXP Share switched off for the most part.

yea ive noticed that so far which is disappointing..i thought with BW2 they were going in the right direction as the story is somewhat challenging/even leveled. the difficulty here is a joke =[

I never feel like just doing straight story mode should be overly hard (challenging, but not impossible) and then introduce challenges later or alongside. In pokemon, that's always been Nuzlocke/type runs/competitive/EV training/breeding/etc for me.

I thought the calcs on Talonflame's stats put it at something like 70/80/70/80/70/135?
The ability is nice, but I'm not sure it saves it from such low non-Speed stats if that's true.

i am so confused on the super training. is there some kind of cap at each tier of it. i can't get my fennikin to get more stats past +4, i only finished lvl 1 training. And this would also mean that its more advantageous to get lower lvl pokemon and max out their super training before lvling them?
|
There isn't a cap that I know of.. have you completed all trainings in gold? Honestly, it doesn't matter when you do it. If you do it later you need a reset bag because you'll be getting a very bland ev through fighting.

Doesn't seem to be accounted for if I'm honest. Am massively overlevelling everything and that's running from 90% of wild pokemon battles. The game's still enjoyable, but I've turned the XP share off for the time being.

It recalcs stats, so if you catch a level 50 poke, max it out within 1 level, you will get +30 stats or so for that first level, and then it appears to be normal again, but it's actually sprinkling in the extra +1 stat every few levels up until it will have 63 more than it would have. It's essentially playing catch up during those first levels of EV training, then it goes back to normal. It's distributed proportionally to the level cap, so you can't max it out at level 10, instead you will get 10% of the 63 possible points (or the amount you collected) all at once, then it will be sprinkled out as it levels, giving you occasional +4s instead of a +3 for example.
Don't worry too much, it is there, it just does a poor job at showing it.

+ Show Spoiler +So, I was fighting Yvetal, the legendary of my version, and I realized that if you actually kill him by mistake, the game make you fight him again until you capture him. That's so dumb lol

Though honestly if it's required for the story you should see if you can Quick Ball it. The gen 5 version legendaries had much higher catch rate because of how it was required for you to be able to catch them, which meant you basically had a 1/3 shot of getting them with a Quick Ball).
