Idk what the absolute best ones would be if you plan on doing multiple breeding projects. The absolute best pokemon to breed for this purpose would probably be something with useful egg moves and two egg groups as well, Idk.
Shoot for pokemon you want to use that have 2 egg groups.
So something like Garchomp is a good pokemon and it's in Monster and Dragon.
Lucario and Mienshao are in Field and Human-Like.
Try to chain your breeding projects together.
Recently I wanted a relaxed hippo, so i bred my rhyhorn with my already finished brave larvitar. Then bred my finished trick room brave rhyhorn with a brand new relaxed hippo. And quickly made one.
once you get all the egg groups life is really easy trust me

yeah. I need to figure this out when I get home.
Fuck me for breeding with ditto + Pokemon I want, right? I mean, once I got past the ditto and bred via wincest, it was all good. But damn, this method could have saved me many many hours. T_T

Breeding ditto + pokemon is a good way to start out before you have a bunch of pokemon to breed with.
But I know what you mean .

Everyone starts out with Ditto + a Pokemon.
When you have a whole bunch of multiple max IV Pokemon in different egg groups, things get a whole lot easier. Just look up the egg groups in Bulbapedia.

Does anyone have an Infiltrator Zubat? Doesn't have to be high IVs or anything, just need the HA XD
|
Also if your breeding from complete scratch, baby pokemon work well cause they have 3 IVs guaranteed in the wild.
AzuMarill is probably a good starter pokemon to breed, has a baby form easily caught in the wild and is in two egg groups.
You still need dittos for the natures though.

You can use a synchronizer on the Azurills if your Dittos don't have the right natures.

I think I might switch forretres out for ferroseed I tried getting help on smogon but my thread just got buried. + Show Spoiler +Mega Luke is actually a good check for Mega Kang. Mega Luke outspeeds and can do heavy damage with Adaptability boosted STAB Close Combat. Consider adding Volt Switch in somewhere on Forretress (maybe over Spikes to help with pivoting). It looks like your team wants to pound things hard to clear the way for one of your setup sweepers to do work and Volt Switch aids a lot with prediction. On Azumarrill, put Play Rough over Double-Edge for fairy STAB with decent coverage (and no recoil). Also consider Splash Plate over Choice Band to bluff a CB. Just a question though, how do you deal with the Rotom-Wash switch-in? Nothing on your team seems like it can absorb a Will-o-Wisp and while you have two fire types, they of course do not want to eat a Hydro Pump. Even Forretress will not take well to repeated Volt Switches from Rotom-W. You seem to want to take a more hyper offensive route with your team. You have the right idea by adding in several powerful hitters, some very capable sweepers and a banded priority hitter. Among your pokemon right now, replacing Hydreigon with a scarf moxie mence gives you a fast devastating wallbreaker who does not need to worry about Sticky Web. All in all, can't really recommend too much changes yet, depending on how you want your team to go. To build a good team, I think you need to start with a 2-3 pokemon core you want to build around and add in pokemon that complement them based on how you want to play. As a sample, here is my first crack at a Pokebank OU team: http://www.smogon.com/forums/threads/mixmence-based-team.3493808/I built a team around an offensive core with good synergy typing-wise and then added in support pokemon that could let me pivot around and also add in hazard support. Usually I can ohko with volcarona giga drain when I think a WoW is coming. I think I wanted a more offensive team but not full offense.

.. Yea I just wasted 2 hours because the wrong ditto was in the day care. I hate breeding genderless.

Genderless breeding is the worst. I don't use rotom / starmie etc as a result

Anyone with Pokemon Y want to catch a female electrike with lightningrod inside a Quick Ball on Route 10 and trade it to me for a 5 IV? Or a manectric from friend safari same thing. Either will do the trick

I would but I have X

Specifically quick ball? I'll see if I can't snag one real quick.
edit: got one. Its IVs are probably garbage, but it's female with lightning rod in a quick ball

Sweet, I'll add you. My FC is in the OP.

holy crap, thx for the rotom
|
NP, thanks for catching my electrike

Okay, I managed to get an infiltrator zubat! Now I'm just looking for an adaptability crawdaunt, so if anyone has one, I can trade you something for it!
