Maybe this might be tragic if you're a Pacquiao fan only, but this is a glorious day as a boxing fan. No controversy bullshit, just a good fight ending in a decisive fashion.

![[image loading]](http://i.imgur.com/8pFh1.jpg) Pacman says he got careless.

Shit... its gonna turn into a .gif now.

I don't watch much boxing, but that was very entertaining. I thought marquez was in trouble with all the blood on his face but that was a great punch

Wow it was excitng to see them pummel each other, but I'm so sad to see Pacquiao go down

Marquez looked like he was dead, i think most people understand how close marquez was to going down late in that round. pacquiao was unloading at will with huge left hands, his nose is likely broken lol he landed 46% of punches while marquez was at 21%. Props to marquez but that shit came out of nowhere lol
If anything this is a blessing in disguise, mayweather will probably finally have the balls to take the fight.

That was a good fight, both wanted to finish this before round 12. Now what? Who is going to be next Mayweather's opponet? What Pacquio is going to do? What's next for Marquez? damn this fight put me in so many question.

Anyway... about that gif:

You know how pissed Bob Arum is now? His plan failed and now his cash cow is no more. Where does he go from here? I doubt Mayweather will fight him now.

Oh man Marquez put Pacquiao out of his misery... that was a terrible KO it's impossible to come back from that, I wanted Marquez to win but I didn't want to see Pacquiao hurt so badly I felt really bad for him and his wife that was crying!
Answering the post above considering that Marquez's value has gone up a lot with this KO and that Floyd Mayweather Jr already is scheduled to fight on 5 de mayo's weekend - the mexican holiday - it makes sense to him to put a second fight against Marquez, the problem is that he already beat him so easily in 2009 that maybe the public is not interested, Mayweather's second option is WBC interim welterweight champion Robert Guerrero who had an impressive win against Andre Berto but he's not nearly as popular as Marquez, I'm guessing even if the public shows no interest in Marquez vs Mayweather II the PPV would still be bigger than against Guerrero and then it makes a lot of sense to put that fight together for Money May.

His cash cow isnt no more? They probably will make a Pacquiao vs Marquez V. Given the fact if they can get it in by next year. But idk cause Marquez is gonna be turning 40 soon. so. We will have to just see in time.

Yeah... It looks like it's lining up to be Guerrero in the first half of the year, and Canelo in September.

I think Marquez would make more money in a rematch against Floyd and he probably doesn't want to fight Pacquiao again considering how deffinitive that brutal KO was, it would be better for his legacy to not fight him again because people will remenber the KO and say Marquez won at least 2 of the 4 fights.

He can start building a cash cow out of Nonito Donaire while Filipinos are still riding the boxing hype.

If anybody is commiting suicide tonight is Uncle Bob (Bob Arum) because Mercito Gesta got trashed by Vasquez to the point where people won't consider Gesta a prospect anymore but a mediocre fighter, and he was being promoted as the new great fighter from the Philipines... then Pacquiao gets brutally KO'd, so such a thing as a mega PPV fight with Floyd Mayweather Jr will never happend... to make things worse he promised Brandon Rios the winner of tonight's fight but Rios is a dumb slugger who already was soundly defeated by Richard Abril, Marquez being the brilliant boxer he is would box Rios' head even worse it would be sad to watch, but then Marquez is almost 40 so he will retire soon, who's left to make huge money for Arum after tonight? LOL.
Donaire is already 29 and won't be a PPV star, plus there is a huge risk Guillermo Rigondeaux beats him, that's why Nonito has been dodging him for some time now. Top rank is finished.

Marquez proved me wrong. I thought they go 12 for MP win split decision with some bs judges. The old boxing technician deserved this win. What a FIGHTER!!!!
I hope Marquez retires with that win he was already a Legend before the fight for up and coming boxers.

Fck.. It's so sad hereee. We were shouting like crazy in Rd 5 and Rd 6. Then at the end of Rd6. He was killing Marquez in the 5th and most of the 6th Round. It's like missing a forcefield vs a 4 gate :<

I edited my comment, hehe. I'm happy because Top Rank sometimes is a joke, it seems to me they really set up the Bradley robbery... that was one of the worse decisitions I've ever seen, Bob Arum was saying some days before that fight that in the case of Bradley winning there would be an inmmediate rematch and then when the fight is over Bradley tells him "sorry I couldn't do it" but Arum still hugged him like he was his son, then the horrible decisition. Karma is a bitch.
