I actually started S4 rather late. i've only played for a little over 2 weeks. However, constant raiding has rocketed me up quickly -__-;; I personally think you should stick to S4... I know it's frustrating being in the thick of the SWolf shit (i see a TL3 guys like WOW T_T) but I think we need you TL3 guys the MOST out of everyone in TL so that we can triumph in this war. I'm going to be doing the most I can to help out in the war effort. I sent out a 10+ hour scout yesterday to the swolf player nearest to TL1 so we can bash his brains in and make their players regret they ever picked on our allinace! ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- edit: a few guys from TL1 are working on teching to catas, so please hold out for a few more days. They have the resources, but the building upgrades are shackling their progress. You want to be around when we coordinate organized cata attacks with multiple people | ||

Just to give an idea of what i had in mind i'll give an example of some roles that can be played within the alliance: Management: Commander in Chief -> Oversee all alliance operations and activities. 2nd in Command -> Assists the commander in all aspects of overseeing the alliance.Acts in his absence.In times of war works closely with the tactician to command the alliance accordingly. Alliance Development Advisor -> As the alliance changes,grows,and circumstances around it change, it will be neccessary to revise and update the command structure and procedures within the group,this job would consist of revamping the chain of command as neccessary,hearing concerns and suggestions of the alliance and putting forth reports based on the alliances efficiency and overall status. Recruitment Advisor -> Oversee the task of seeking out,evaluating and communicating with possible recruits. Should the said recruit fit alliance requirements of location, population and activity the successful recruit will then be brought to the commander who will place him accordingly within the alliance. Senior Tactician -> Oversee's strategy and logistics of battle plans, punches the numbers and forwards them to the battle commander (2nd in command) who will then make the appropriate action. Assistant Tactician -> works with the senior tactician to lessen the workload of logistics calculations. Diplomat -> Self explanitory,manages all alliance relations with other alliances,monitors alliance forums. Strategic Outlook Advisor -> This job is to see the alliance 12 steps ahead of where it is,what we'll be doing when we're there,and how to best prepare for it in the here and now. Reconnaissance Officer -> Oversee's all scouting operations,puts forth reports accordingly so other members are kept informed even in times of peace. I'll stop now since you guys might not even go for this,but just to give you an idea. Also as the alliance expands we could start thinking about having different villages break into brigades and focus on different objectives,for example certain villages,depending on location and the future intentions of the alliance, could mass produce a certain unit which could then be used to our advantage and compliment the mass production of other units that villages have produced.Targetting according to recon reports as to which villages have a weakness to that unit type,etc. working the nightshift really sucks guys,stay in school..ah who am i kidding,15 an hour to play travian..could be worse ;p | ||

And it's really not that hard to play on 2 servers, at least in early/mid game its not too hard. Idk about late game though >< Edit: woot ranked 310, pop 28 seems to be the normal. Some people have like 38 pop though wtf >< | ||

I started legs production too, and having the same problem with the iron, but your fields are better than mine, what the hell I have been doing wrong? -__- 2 legs by now, I think tomorrow morning I will have 5 or 6 >_< At least I am the second stronger in my area and have like 4 15~20 pop chobos. | ||

Take the innitiative (talking from spanish server experience) once the mass clubs, you can be attacked REALLY easy. if you attack theme early on the will be VERY behind. their army = farms, if his army dies you have SOOO much advantage. | ||

Upgrading fields will only set you further back time-wise. Calculate how much the fields cost, and then how much it will take before they will pay themselves back. I'm guessing it isn't efficient. I know it's frustrating but If youre close at all to the upgrade, just sit on your cash and raid. | ||

level your fields so that your crop production is always half, or more than half of your clay production. Your wood production should be just below clay, and just below wood is your iron production. Don't exceed 60 with wood, clay, or iron. So basically: Clay fields should have the highest output, except for crop. Crop is to never fall below half of the clay's production. Wood should be just below clay in production. Iron should be just below wood in production. So, if you have two level 1 clays, you'll have one level 1 wood, and level 0 irons. All clays L1, 3 L1 woods, 2 L1 irons, etc. Then, once you reach 60/60/60 your crop should be at 42, I think. Then up your main building to L3, get a rally point, and then your barracks. Then, make legionnaires like crazy. Stop makign them at 30, and keep raiding everything around you. Don't raid anyone bigger than about 40 pop without some knowledge of what they have. Use your raiding to increase your income. Get a marketplace and trade away any resources you have excess of. Then tech to Equ Imps, get 100 or so, and raid raid raid. Then get imps for offense, preats for defense along with your legs, and just keep raiding and growing. | ||

On the other hand, I have 6 DV NE memebers all around me, the largest about 150 pop, the lowest about 60 pop. So I'm thinking, instead of going around them, why not start farming them. I'm thinking that with 20 phalanx, 10 sword, and 12 TTs and a lvl 2 wall, I can devote a full day or 2 and attack them all, kill their shit, and just keep them down with constant raiding. If it works, I'd have at least 2-3 decent farms for a while, but if it doesn't I could be pretty much fucked for a while. U guys think this is a bad idea? I still need to tek the swords, so there's time to talk me out of it | ||

its like those people who send angry messages when you raid them, the whole goal of the game is to kill things and piss people off, its just retarded to start complaining when it happens to you for a change. i'm pretty sure gene has almost no army left right now, which i find pretty amusing. really, theres no reason at all to take this so serious, just like there was no reason at all to be so serious about me not playing that much. kicking me effectively ruined the game for me, seeing as how without an alliance you get raided constantly, and i couldnt join any other alliance cuz ive been raiding everyone around me, so i doubt they'll let me join. i simply dont see why sea should be such a great alliance, when that really doesnt make the game that much funner. if you only want people who check on this game every hour or so, then thats fine with me, but i dont see why you would have more fun that way. its not a game that is supposed to take more then 20 mins a day or smth like that imo. | ||
