It's a control-combo deck and these are highly efficient right now. Just because it gets crushed by Dhamiria decks which are trusting the T1 list isn't diminishing the results. The current meta-game is Control-Combo versus Aggro. Any deck filling these requirements is a higher tier deck and listing are only representative of what is played most. In my opinion the list goes like this if we only consider the potential in the current metagame. 1. Inferno : Dhamiria can do everything and rush decks are very potent. 2. Necropolis : Control-Combo all day long with the best delaying creatures. 3. Bastion : Rush all day with enrage and aggressive spells. 3. Sanctuary : Either Control-Combo or movement based rush. 5. Haven : Mostly rush but lacks the offensive firepower of the 2 above factions. | ||

Yukilock is doing good considering I had 2 autoloses, 1 from dhamiria, 1 from a guy with 4 cosmic balances, zzz. The other 2 loses were from rush decks that I didn't draw the cards to defend from. Anyway, what are the best heroes for control decks other from yukiko? I want them, Q_Q. | ||

Most Sanctuary can be played in a control way as well due to the board manipulation capacities just like Inferno can with its discard fortunes. | ||

Also, to repeat what at least five other people here have already said: I can think of about 10 different card games I've played. In every single one, I have played control decks. So naturally, I disregarded everyone's advise and started Necro. This was a mistake!!! In DoC, laddering is largely a chore due to previously mentioned design flaws and you want ladder matches to go by as quickly as possible to get cards for a good control deck (or so I think - I've only been playing two weeks and still don't have good cards). So start Inferno, even if you are a control deck lover like me! | ||

My yukilock is almost optimized, only 2 pao's and 4 da's missing. Btw how does jackpot work exactly? How high must you place to get a reward and what kind of etc? | ||
