Also I would like to rep the A Link to the Past. My favorite streamer is http://www.twitch.tv/christosowen The WRs are, all held by Kryssstal. Master Sword 21:53 by Kryssstal Any% 1:24:22 by Kryssstal Any% No S+Q 1:26:33 by Kryssstal 100% No S+Q 1:47:24 by Kryssstal On Christos stream he usually streams practice and on every sunday 9pm CEST they hold a race in the any% No S+Q. After that they race a puzzle race where one of the members have created a puzzle race which is to complete the game in some funky manner.

Well, not right now I guess, but he's still going at it. Watching him play is quite mezmerizing. I did not play SM64 that much, but because of Sig I know the game almost by heart now. :D

This is a regular(non-tas) speedrun of the amazing hack Sonic 2 Retro Remix by its creator. Featuring some of the best level design I've seen in any game ever, Sonic 2 Retro Remix is a unique, incredibly fun, and easily one of my favorite games. The premise is to give Sonic 2 the gameplay style of 3D mario games, involving collecting emeralds(instead of stars or shines) in the levels through various "missions". Each level has 6 missions, 3 emeralds hidden in the levels (1 is garaunteed after each boss), a time attack, score attack, and 7 emerald monitor hunt(like the red coins). There are a several secrets in the overworlds too. Sonic has an air dash, homing attack, and walljump to aid in exploration/speed, as well as being able to midair curl, rolling uncurl, and midair boost off of springs in a direction. The music tracks in this game are also great. I've speedrunned this game many times myself and know I can go faster than the video shown above, especially since I can get all 6 emeralds in some levels. I've been wanting to do a TAS of this game to raise awareness for it, but I don't actually know how to TAS... I've never done one before. The non-linear nature and low requirements to access most of the game(2 emeralds to access zone 3, 8 to access zones 4 and 5, and 18 for the final area in the newest version) as well as the huge number of routes through the levels seems really good for TAS, be it a low/any/100% run. There is a newer version of this hack than the one shown in the video that has a few more levels(2 in an new introductory zone and 1 or 2 later) and an emerald radar for lazy people who can't figure out the mission hints. The saves from current and older versions are not compatible, but there's only a few new levels and the game is well worth replaying anyway, so I would recommend trying the older shown version first unless you're a pussy. The homepage for this game is located here: http://sonic2retroremix.weebly.com/index.html Older versions without radar can be found here: http://info.sonicretro.org/Sonic_2_Retro_Remix (If you wisely choose the shown older 2010 version without radar first, use "Adventure Mode", Classic has no emeralds)

Well for sonic hacks I usually go to sonicretro http://info.sonicretro.org/Category:Hacks or to sonic stuff research group http://sonicresearch.org/index.php. There's plenty of good ones on there. For mario world hacks I've only tried about a dozen ones from http://www.smwcentral.net/. The mario world ones I find myself going back to play again are Mario's Amazing Adventure (MAA) and The Second Reality Project Reloaded (TSRPR). I've tried a ton of the sonic ones and too many good ones to list them all, but this guy on youtube showcases a bunch of them in 3 showcases http://www.youtube.com/user/MegaGWolf/videos?view=1. Hope that helps, happy hunting.

Its a good time right now, Sig running everyday and Cosmo getting back into WW runs, though with little success so far I believe. Should update the OP with some of the recent going-ons however. =P

Glad someone else did it as it saves me some work. =D Its a good time right now, Sig running everyday and Cosmo getting back into WW runs, though with little success so far I believe. If you wanna write a little something for the current goings on, I can easily edit it in. I did have some things I wanted to post here but I've totally forgotten what they are.

Not saying that some aren't but it really has calmed down compared to last year. I blame shitty FPS shooter(CoD, BF) and Minecraft. Those have taken in a decent chunk of the gamers -.-

It will be the first playthrough for the both of us but we will try to clear it as fast as possible with 0 knowledge of the game... We are both using PCSX2 Emulator and it will start at around 12:00 European Central Time. If you want to tune in please do ... we are usually pretty good at clearing games fast. We both cleared FFXII IZJS in less than 6 hours

I was really just referring to how Hot Streams and News is empty. Probably throwing Sig's stream there would be good for the rest of August since he is playing so much, even though most people know about it it still wouldn't hurt I guess.
