You do realise they are actually making a Warhammer game? It's going to be the best thing ever. I'm actually more excited for it than Rome II. Like, Shadow of the Horned Rat will always be one of the best ever and I have every faith that CA will make their game one million times better than mark of chaos. http://www.independent.co.uk/life-style/gadgets-and-tech/gaming/warhammer-to-get-total-war-treatment-as-license-passes-to-creative-assembly-8390197.html Creative Assembly are probably my favourite studio so I virtually shat myself when I found this out last year.

I'm not sure exactly what happens to it now, but I would assume it's up for grabs. In fact, Sega picked up THQ's 40k studio, Relic, in the aftermath. 40k TW would be badass.

It usually takes ages for a unit to go stand into the desired stance, not something you'd expect from trained soldiers. I'm curious when they'll be have the guts to make a new game, instead of churning out remakes. Napoleon was just empire redone, Shogun 2 is shogun redone and Rome 2 is rome redone. There are plenty of other interesting time periods and continents out there! China's history alone spans 3000 years, why not do something on that? Or something on the Aztec and Mayan cultures? Well that's more realistic than you think since it used to take ages for formations of 1000's of troops to form too but yeah the AI was pretty mediacre.

I saw the name and immediately thought of ReformistTM's Mount & Blade: Prophecy Of Pendor playthrough, lol. I assume Gaul and Spain/Iberia will be the other two factions for the barbarians. 4 remaining. Who wants to guess what's next? I'd imagine one of the eastern factions, probably Egypt.

One could think that an improvement to the engine would be worth investing in regarding a game like WH40k I also wouldn't say that their games don't work with gunpowder units. I just recently played a Campaign with Darthmod Empire and i had a absurdly cool game on the campaign map and the battles were fun too. Imagine they didn't restrict the modding so hard, the game could be the shit. Alternatively CA could stop being childish and give Darth Vader a job, he'd improve this game so much if he got his hands on it early and could influence it big time. So i say that CA themselves is bad over and over again with gunfire units(among many other things), but the engine itself can handle this special kind of warfare. All that said, i believe that the chances of a Warhammer 40k game to work properly at its release are smaller than with a Warhammer Fantasy game.

Oml, I was so close to beating you to it, Seri. Like, less than 5 minutes away. X-D Guess I was wrong about the next one being Egypt. Glad the barbs are more fleshed out history-wise than they were in Rome I. I still like my Greeks over them, though. :->
