You don't just create a one-time password. One-time passwords come from the security key chain things.

not sure if its because i reduced graphics settings (and then increased them, left occulsion and bloom off for now tho) or because i downgraped to 6 month old catalyst drivers (no centre? oh well) but its running for now

i made 2 real nice looking characters, however customisation options are insanely limited. you cant change the distance between features so you're stuck with the same 1 out of 4 options for everything. the basic thing is if you want a tiny nose or smaller jaw then you need to be able to adjust proportions of distances between them. you cant have a tiny, high-up nose and then just a huge fucking space between the bottom of your nose and the top of your mouth, for instance.
also the hundreds of other settings you get in every MMO since perfect world. things like "adjust cheek bones (up/down out-in)" , "lengthen chin", "reduce brow depth" don't exist at all. you pick for 4 preset faces and then pick from 4 preset eyes and 4 preset noses (of course only 1 or 2 of the 4 is good unless you are RPing someone specifically non-beautiful). hair options are also strangely limited.
all the cat-girls look like michelle tratchenburg (slightly goofy, long neck that you cant alter coz no proportions options), all the humans look exactly the same rather plain look (less interesting than rinoa) coz only 2 of their 4 faces are viable , tho i got a pretty great one out of them on my 2nd attempt
i'm happy with what i ended up with, tho i was struggling at first with a few 8/10s.

Caved and bought it. Enjoying it slightly now that I'm level 11. It's kind of a deep dive to begin without much to do. It's kinda sad how shitty the intro was, I was contemplating leaving because it's not the most intuitive interface.

The support on this game is sooooo awful. I purchased CE on accident with Crysta. I mean to subscribe, you know so I can actually PLAY. I haven't even activated the account yet. And no, you can't play if you just buy the CE version. You also have to pay for the monthly fee.
I sent support a ticket, it was responded to quickly but I got some copy/pasted response that in no way helped me. Pretty much just got told NO REFUNDS... When I didn't necessarily want a refund, I wanted to be subscribed instead.
Maybe I'm just expecting too much since I play EVE online. The support there is god-like.
That reminds me as well, I have a vanilla character that was quite high leveled, but I quit about 3 months after launch. Will I still be able to use it or what?

Japanese support is not exactly same level as American support. It's already tons better than most, where they just don't give a flying fuck. All the law suits must be paying off.

For NA, I believe tonberry and cactuar is really populated.
I wouldn't worry about not having peoplle to play with, with the atma questline, everyone is grinding lower lv areas to receive their items for their weapon...an underhanded method to get the max lv people to populate the lower lv area when the ps4 game launched :<

I wrote this game off a bit early I think due to its (overly) simplistic start. As a 46 smn i currently have to juggle 7 1-2 minute cooldowns in addition to my normal rotation where i need to keep an eye on multiple dots and manage a pet. It's certainly no less busy than an affliction lock in wow, which is what drew me to the job in the first place. I'm pleasantly surprised. Do any other jobs have similar micromanagement requirements?

if u want micro jobs, try scholar. comes from arcanist too, so if u have a 50 smn, u automatically get a 50 scholar.
scholars have 2 pets, eos and selene. to play scholars to its maximum potential, u have to manage cooldowns of your fairies, keep track of parties health and manage aetherflow. Scholars are not as complicated as summoner, but it's similiar i guess, except that you're healing instead of dps-ing. with clever macros, u can also heal 2 people at once with single target heals, which white mages cant ever do.
Btw, anyone playing on cactuar? i feel like making a TL linkshell or FC, so why not TL members.

I play scholar and it's pretty fun. You can shield the main tank and put your faerie on him while healing up the other members, and your faeries have buff skills that you can use on rotation. Aetherflow management is also pretty neat since you get some sick spells (aoe that reduces damage taken by 10% or 20% max hp instant heal).
Also if you disconnect randomly your faerie can afk heal your party to victory LOL
