Want to pick up the game, but I'm currently living in a region different from my Steam billing address which seems to want to set me up with a EU account at first glance. Is it possible to just buy from wherever and later choose what region to play in? (EU -> JP) Thanks~ | ||

The servers and regions are split up in Data Centers and Servers. First you pick a Data Center, then a Server. There are Data Centers for NA, EU and JP. You can switch just fine I believe. Do give the game a try, it's pretty amazing. | ||

You can play with PC/PS3 players in case you weren't aware - it's all on the same servers. | ||

Ramuh is a great way to get a decent weapon and potentially-BiS rings. Relics are now upgradeable to the highest endgame ilvl until 2.4 (but requires a serious grind). 2.4 will introduce Rogue (new base class) and Ninja (new job). So now is a pretty good time to check out the game and then you can see if 2.4 is interesting enough to stay subbed. A lot of people I know are kinda burnt out on the game after playing since 2.0, but again, if you're new, you've got a pretty solid selection of random content. | ||
