On the GG client... probably the equivalent of about 20-30 ping... honestly... I was getting no noticeable delay when he hosted.

and gg client is different than hamachi, hamachi is a direct connection, gg client you connect to special servers designed for this purpose... you still play games over local area network setting and all that though | ||

to try it out... download it, install run it, put your account name as test1 password test1 if that doesn't work test2 etc. until you find one that's not being tested then join a 'lobby' (channel) on the left then near the bottom right of the UI there's 2 buttons, one is set game path... you do that so gg client knows where to run the game from, then you hit start game beside it... go to LAN, and make a game! worked for mani and i quite easily... although make sure you're in the same lobby for it to work edit: and as this is beta, the gg client itself seems a bit buggy, get "error" messages sometimes, kinda annoying, but when you're in the GAME itself, it's fine... hopefully all the UI bugs will be cleaned up soon  | ||
