I'd love to try out the M107. I've used the AS50, M24, CZ and DMR so far. The AS50 is really quiet compared to all other snipers and is also a 1 shot kill with an effective range of 1.2 km.
I love the AS50, and personally believe it's the best sniper in the game right now. A close contender is the SVU because of the built in range-finder, but the AS50 range, accuracy, and stopping power is unmatched. Anyone want to form a squad or something? I usually run lone-wolf, but it's starting to get boring since I've reached the end of the gear progression for the umpteenth time. c: I can help you gear up if you'd like, and I'm still in search of NVG.

I just went on the Atlanta 69 server for the first time and i immediatly heard shots and someone died near me. Was too afraid to continue. Is this server as hostile as the other servers or is it more friendly in general?

Its not much different, but people on TL are more likely to ask in the teamspeak server before they shoot

was playing atlanta 69, still am... but am prone in bushes atm =).... anyways stumbled upon some group's camp at lumber mill... if ur TL'ers...sorry... especially to whoever had the m249... but as soon as i killed 1, another came, killed him. then a 3rd came and i felt bad thinking "what if im killing TL'ers" so i line up... and im like "naw ill try to voice chat first" as im running up he turns and aims at me i try to book it back behind a building... gunned down =(... what i get for not just shooting first... o well fun day so far.

Yeah that was us! Not a big deal, I dropped all my loot off at my tent, even my backpack, but it sucks losing the m249 for sure after a 3 day character. No biggie though, maybe should be in teamspeak to keep track of who's where.

aw sorry guys,... you must be ghazi and cory? was the guy who killed me also with you guys? ya i didnt get to loot the m249 cause i got dc'ed from the server (or it crashed idk cause when i got back only 4-5 people were on the server) and when i got back i had to chill cause i heard ur friend coming...
anyways i just had lamest death ever... wall phasing zombies that 1 shot u ftl -.-

The TL server members are so mannered. I just spawned and this guy saluted me instead of taking me out. Good people!

Soooo I'm currently hiding a bus and a bike because I don't know what to do with them, and idk where the camp is.
If someone wants to pm me the location so I can move the vehicles there that'd be awesome.

After never having spawned without being armed with a Makarov i'm actually not shocked by brutal difficulty. You can be pretty well equipped after a a couple of minutes if you know what you're doing and how to behave.

The barb wire is becoming a major problem.
We hope rocket will make it de-spawn in some time.
When we go into major city's to shoot at people we usually clean up the barb but that only helps a little.
join us at Seattle 69 we specifically set it up to ensure fun and good server management for the TL folks.

Sounds like you guys don't want me on your server....
Too many good mannered people (or so it seems)... I'd mess things up too badly, and probably get banned for being too bm, lol
However, if i find myself with no one else to play with, i'll put away my nice weapons and get on the "TL Server" with like an M4A3 or something similar

i played a little with darkenergy and others yesterday and it was fun, i had never experienced group play before this and scouting for heli crash sites and raiding airfields really is exciting. But we were really unorganised and it ended up with a massive screwup with some of us tking each other in cherno. identifying friendlies is really tough, i really think there should be some kind of squad system in this game.
will visit atlanta 69 again when i have time.

He was cruising in a tractor in NE airfield when we pulled up in our militairy offroad with a crew of 5.
after a short car chase we cornerd him in the ACT and Fear managed to get a head shot.
Sadly he disconnected, when he died and the body de-spawned.
we are thinking about banning people who disconnect immediately after death.

Well I knew that.... And I'm pretty sure I got banned from a server for blowing up a camp (literally all the vehicles they had, gone, rofl)... however, i don't care, don't play on that server anymore
And as for the TL server... I might have to take you guys up on that offer... Played over 120 hours (or so) of DayZ in the past 2 weeks so I kind of know what's up

I don't think the body de-spawning has anything to do with him disconnecting, cuz on almost every other server I've been on, the body stays, usually until the next restart unless hidden by a player

Actually offensive language and all the usual bannable offences apply as well as racism.
And you wouldn't ban someone for a high ping, just kick.
I think the glitch with bodies disappearing will probably be fixed soon so it shouldn't matter much, and people who disconnect after death are generally just rage-quitting after the frustration of dying, not being malicious or intentionally losing their body.

Broken Leg guy here "Walter". Played for a bit on TL server. Was in Elektro finally got my first guns. Was fun for a while running around with the other guys not really sure who they where. Just know Kennigit was helping us and another sniper.
My day ended falling off the roof of the firehouse while Shootemup watched through his scope.
Dem DayZ controls!! Will be on tonight still trying to get the hang of it.
