So, for anyone who remembers my post several pages back, I was the guy who was unable to play this awesome game due to a number of real life issues I have going on. I am thrilled to say that a member of TL.net gifted me Arma 2 on steam just a while ago. I won't mention his name unless he wants me to, but I have to say thanks publicly. People like him are the reason I love TL, and I seriously started tearing up over his generosity. You guys are amazing, and I look forward to playing with you!

Yes that was me. I was trying to figure out how to say "help my leg is broken and some asshole barbwired me inside" but I couldn't. So I alt tabbed to TS to find out and when I tabbed back my AK was going off and a horde glitched through the barb wire and killed me.

So I respawned in Cherno. Crawled like a boss across a field, through a warehouse, through a parking lot, over a road, through another field, over another road, through a field (where I found a dead guy lit by a chem light; got AKM, a pistol, bunch of ammo, food, map, watch, and ALICE pack), across a railway, through another field, and up a hill.

Now I'm logged off somewhere north of Cherno while I go make some IRL dinner.

Ok so every time i join a server, i spawn in the same spot. its just open grass with hills forever i dont think its even on the map. there's "survivor" characters glitched everywere and i cant find my way to the real map. i think its a glitch and woundering if anyone else has had this happen. ive tried making new profiles and hitting respawn, but i just spawn in the same place with all the gear i had before.
( i just got the game today and played for like and hour, logged off and took a break, and this started happening when i logged back in cant play since)
anyone know anything about this?

I'm also pretty interested in actually playing Arma tho, after somebody linked that video of the guy leading everybody, then having to get evac'd out. Looked like a blast.
