Sure it's harder, but I have never seen that much friendlies, ever. I ran into around 10 people tonight, teamed with 5 of them, got transfused by one, bandaged one right before he died (didn't save him, must have been really close), but most importantly, none shot me. That's like a revolution compared to the constant deathmatch that was 1.7 and before. Stabilise at 6000 blood, and head north. Its now completely black, unless I use my night vision i literally can't see anything. So I head for a couple barns, to find some wood for a fire to cook some meat. Check 2 barns, 3 deer stands, and zombies constantly aggro on me from around 100m out. At night. Seems really weird. Anyway, long story short I kept getting randomly jumped by zombies and passed out after getting aggroed on when my player randomly decides to stop crawling and gets up and sprints, even though they said they'd fixed it. Pretty pissed that I lost my gps, nvg, coyote and m4, all because they decided to make the game impossible. Seriously they need to nerf the zombies now, its ok when you can just sprint but tbh you can only do that in cities because you can get away by running through buildings. DayZ fucking life. Edit: The reason I didn't have any wood to cook the meat I had was that my hatchet got taken out of inventory after the update too. Fuck you rocket. | ||

only big flaw is zombie aggro, way overtuned atm. the most effective strategy for early-game looting right now is just to run in full sprints to attractive looking barns/buildings, looting quickly, and getting back on the road. use indoors to give a big clump ov zombies the slip, and then melee down the 1-2 that end up chasing you. way less fun than successfully sneaking around and looting but sneaking is way too hard/ineffective it really isn't worth it. | ||
