EPTI'd love a bike, are they naturally spawning now?
Edit: I did see a bus in elektro stuck in the door of the church last night, but it was a frag fest getting to it and after I killed two guys honking the horn in it someone else shot me in the back

I was at the Balota warehouse, and I saw a guy look at me, so I quick ran into a house and camped the doorway. With an AKM, I thought I'd be safe. At the very least, I would be more prepared, you know? So he comes into my sight, and we both start unloading are clips into each other (I forgot what gun he had), and after something like 8 shots, we both died (but I didn't get an additional murder count). I guess I had assumed that the firefight would have been shorter? | ||

Even with a latency below 30 a lot of hits are just not registered. Sometimes even grenade don't kill people standing right on top of them. And seeing a player model bleeding does not mean that you actually hit him. It just means your client thinks you hit him, the server might have his opinion about that.... According to this DayZ Weapon Comparison Table most Submachine Guns take 2-3, most (Assault) Rifles only 1-2 shot to the chest to kill. Some guns, like the Lee Enfield, even kill with a single shot when you hit legs/arms. | ||

Well, all I can say is that it is worth the value of a full priced game as it stands, and it's only going to get better (since it is indeed in alpha). I bought my copy off ebay for $12.98. | ||

I bought my copy off ebay for $12.98. Well, personally I don't think it's worth the value of a full priced game yet. Getting into a game on a server that is playable, sometimes seems impossible. Atleast if you don't want to spend hours trying to get in. The game is also buggy as shit. It is in alpha so I guess you should expect these problems but it's not worth the value of a full priced game. Not even close. | ||

I've had absolutely no trouble getting into a good server (maybe because I live in a big city?), and the bugs don't interfere with my enjoyment, which is key. I guess I kind of agree with you, but the thing is, it's NOT sold for the price of a full-priced game anyway. You can find OA online for a quarter of the price. | ||

With regard to the servers - I've actually had more luck playing on the NY and Dallas servers than the EU based servers despite being based in London. No idea why.... NY11 seems very good! | ||
