Anyway, is it true that this game works better on Medium-High options, and that Very Low/Low actually decrease performance? I read few posts about it and can't test it out until tonight or tomorrow. If it is true, which settings should be higher then Very Low/Low, is there some "best FPS" set of settings? I have 9800GT, Q6600 and 4GB RAM and play with most of Very Low settings, still have FPS issues... would be awesomely strange if higher settings actually get me to better FPS.  | ||

You have to set something in Video Options, something to do with memory so it can use all of your RAM, i think u dont have to put values in there, just Default, ill check it or someone else can confirm. Btw anyone tried 1.7.2.1 im afraid to log today since there was a patch update, and last time I rushed into the game with a new patch, I ended up losing all my stuff. | ||

1.7.2.1 will be released today and 1.7.2.2. They are trying to get 1.7.2.2 out before the weekend. There is no changelog for 7.2.2 yet but the one for 7.2.1 looks to have the ghillie suit issue fixed. | ||

just got arma2, and im bothered by the lack of chat when i was watching youtube videos the chat was vibrant and pulsing, and when i played (and i tried a couple servers) their was no chat. Do i have to download a mod or something? Any help would be appreciated | ||

I was thinking off a possible way to cleanup the TS channels a bit. What I am thinking is anyone who has played for a reasonable amount of time knows that the main areas are - Cherno,Elektro,Stary,NW airfield. If we had separate channels just for Cherno and Elektro I think it would help relieve the chaos that happens in chat. When your running ops at NW airfield and you have a dude telling you he has blood bags and is Cherno it can get kinda annoying. Plus some people like to narrate their gameplay on TS which is kinda annoying I don't need to know when your gutting a chicken cause your hungry. General TL dayz channel is getting loaded now. I think just having a Cherno and Elektro channel can help with cutting down on cross chatter since those cities are adventures on their own. Maybe it could go a step farther with channels for all the main areas to add berenzhino and if your in the vicinity or headed there you just switch to that channel. Just maybe as a test create those 2 channels to see how it works out. Also this doesn't exclude people either just help reduce chatter. Also could help cut down on accidental TL on TL deaths. | ||

Also to add once your out of Cherno or Elektro you pop up to general channel. Basically yesterday was annoying it was funny but only cause we kinda trolled the guy. Ok ok I'll say it!!! I don't need to hear 20 times if the supermarkets in Cherno are fucking empty! If nothing spawned in fucking Cherno. Don't say you understand the game if you never made it outside of Cherno or Elektro. Your next supermarket to those cities is like fuck zelengorsk. Your not pro cause you played for a little bit but then your asking 5 seconds later if the M9SD is a good handgun. Just play the damn game your not impressing anyone at all. Many of us have sunk tons of hours in we understand the game for the most part. We just like to play enjoy our adventures questions are fine we don't mind questions. Don't say you know the game cause you dont want to sound like a noob. You will be exposed that's what this game does to you. It's not like jack shit you ever played! I don't give a shit if you don't like to go up north and only want to run around with the dinner bell. I like phat lewts! Ok thank you all for your time!
