Listen... if you wanna play at night, you NEED NEED NEED chemlights (you can see, enemies farther than like 50m can't see), and one of the following (in order of importance):

A. NVG
B. Gun with flashlight (M4A3 CCO, G17, Remington, etc)
D. Flashlight in general (you start with one





NW Airfield has more players than guns tbh... If you're looking for automatics, just check any military building (ATC, Hangars, Deer Stands, Heli Crashes, etc), if you're looking for a decent sniper, any random ass barn is good enough..

Yes the Heli crashes spawn "better" guns... but what's better, a gun with zoomed-thermal, or M4A3 CCO (red-dotted, flash-lighted, hand-gripped beast mode of a STANAG rifle)... a silenced, rare-as-shit-ammo automatic, or a Kobra who's ammo is more common than zombies themselves?

It's all in perspective... I personally like finding long-term guns... not short-term "can't die with it on me" guns... because the common guns are common for a reason... they're good enough, and their ammo is boss mode...

DayZ is all about position, if you have a good gun, it makes it easier to win if you both get equal shots off... but that NEVER fucking happens in DayZ... all about position, guns come later

Think Bizon SD... it's got pretty good range, silenced, and has a 64 round mag (!)... but you can only find at Heli crash... final decision: useless. and besides.. when i play, i play for hours straight, so having multiple mags with only 1 bullet causes me to eventually get back to that 1 bullet mag... and that's BAD BAD BAD
