Haha, I found a DMR (: I also found a Silenced M9 and a PDW. I'm not sure which one to keep though.

I'm also 100% sure that reloading mid-magazine is stupid unless you magically have full-ammo mags (eg Call of Duty)
Because although having not testing thoroughly, I'm pretty sure it just grabs a mag with the most ammo... eg, if you have mags with 10, 20, and 30, it'll always grab the 30, no matter how many times you reload, and won't grab the 20 until you either use up the current or go below 20, making 20 the new highest
(Read: Theory.. not tested since the "ammo healthbar" added)

I'm not downplaying the Bizon.. just saying it's not a 100% upgrade as some my THINK it is... it's silenced with 64 bullet mags... cool and all, but it's ammo is beyond rare should you find one, as well as it's effective range and overall dps not as high

Bizon is great against Zeds but is absolute trash against other players.

I found an L85A2-AWS today. It's just as imbalanced as everyone says. Completely ridiculously powerful.
My and my friends were running through the most random-ass forest northeast of Pop Ivan when we suddenly almost bumped into this random guy not in our group. killed him with my M14-AIM. He had that and a ton of other valuable shit. Crazy night overall.

is anything being done about aborters? i don't feel like playing this anymore when half the people abort the moment a round passes by them.
|
Report them, and they will be banned. I think there's gonna be a notice along the lines (name) left the game or sth. that was discussed in TS yesterday, thus making reporting a lot easier.

I'm also 100% sure that reloading mid-magazine is stupid unless you magically have full-ammo mags (eg Call of Duty) Because although having not testing thoroughly, I'm pretty sure it just grabs a mag with the most ammo... eg, if you have mags with 10, 20, and 30, it'll always grab the 30, no matter how many times you reload, and won't grab the 20 until you either use up the current or go below 20, making 20 the new highest (Read: Theory.. not tested since the "ammo healthbar" added) Show nested quote +On July 08 2012 15:37 oZii wrote:On July 08 2012 13:40 Keitzer wrote:On July 08 2012 12:46 TSBspartacus wrote:On July 08 2012 12:00 Keitzer wrote:On July 08 2012 08:21 Jakatak_ wrote:On July 08 2012 04:31 Charger wrote: I still haven't figured out how you guys play at night. Are you forgetting bizon can use any 9x19mm SD and NON-sd ammo ? It can use PWD sd, M9 sd, mp5 sd ammo ... more then enough to never run out. It can also use G17 mags, but those are never silenced if im not mistaken
I'd rather say it sucks because of bad range, and it's not a sidearm.

So we run in circles like tards shooting zombies, he walks backwards off the edge of the pier into the ocean breaking his leg and suffering a traumatic brain injury. Our new friend (shotty guy) was killed as we tried to make a run for it, the other guy got away and i managed to get a 1 for 1 on one of you but losing the DMR in the process lol

Bizon is not that rare, people usually dump the Bizon for something else because they already know where to look for crash sites. Those same people probably already have a decent weapon. I find a heli crash site almost everytime I play and I'm on foot and usually only ever play on the TL server when guys have 2 or 3 vehicles.
Like someone else said you can use commonly found ammo to load into the Bizon. No silenced weapon in the game is great beyond 250m the M4 CCO Silenced is effective at 200m which is the farthest in the game for a silenced weapon.
Yes you are downplaying the Bizon and most other guns you find at heli sites because YOU prefer common as fuck weapons. We could talk all day about why this gun is better than this gun when it mostly boils down to taste.
I get it you like common guns good for you! You roll by the NW airfield only for ammo and just pass over a SVD camo if its laying on the ground. You roll by a Heli crash and skip it unless you only need STANAG or AK mags you skip the AS50 laying on the ground because the ammo is harder to find.
I skip FN FALs because they are at every crash site and I have never even fired one.

"1 bullet in each clip" I'm sorry... but that's just a horrible way to play the game imo... assuming you're only alive due to a technical error (I wouldn't say bug as that's intentional, but it shouldn't be) Think Bizon SD... it's got pretty good range, silenced, and has a 64 round mag (!)... but you can only find at Heli crash... final decision: useless. and besides.. when i play, i play for hours straight, so having multiple mags with only 1 bullet causes me to eventually get back to that 1 bullet mag... and that's BAD BAD BAD Well the 1 bullet in every clip trick, you cant really stop it cause when you reload you take ammo from the other clips so the game automatically gives you 1 bullet in every clip, so yeah that's how it works. It's near impossible for me to do anything TT flash light is pretty useful in the beginning, as long as u know how to avoid zombies its not that hard to do stuff. Just throw flares everywhere if you have nothing and suddenly everything becomes easier. I had 20 zombies chasing me and easily avoided them and not to mention if you know how to distract zombies by throwing cans / flares not only do they not aggro on you but you can see stuff. Otherwise, if you don't want to die, yea you're probably gonna have a bad time. I don't understand people giving ridiculous advice.... flares = ZOMBIES. Period. AND they're sniper bait. Double period. Listen... if you wanna play at night, you NEED NEED NEED chemlights (you can see, enemies farther than like 50m can't see), and one of the following (in order of importance): A. NVG B. Gun with flashlight (M4A3 CCO, G17, Remington, etc) D. If you're looking for automatics, just check any military building (ATC, Hangars, Deer Stands, Heli Crashes, etc), if you're looking for a decent sniper, any random ass barn is good enough.. Yes the Heli crashes spawn "better" guns... but what's better, a gun with zoomed-thermal, or M4A3 CCO (red-dotted, flash-lighted, hand-gripped beast mode of a STANAG rifle)... a silenced, rare-as-shit-ammo automatic, or a Kobra who's ammo is more common than zombies themselves? Rambo style? I usually find 2 mags for bizon everytime thats alot of ammo And no... it's 64 bullets per mag... not 64 mags... you only ever find 2 most per Heli crash (per bizon.. should 2 spawn, obvs you'll get more than 2)... Still not enough for my taste... I just prefer to have 5+ of common-as-fuck STANAG or AK than 2 of a pretty good gun, but useless when you run out of ammo I'm not downplaying the Bizon.. just saying it's not a 100% upgrade as some my THINK it is... it's silenced with 64 bullet mags... cool and all, but it's ammo is beyond rare should you find one, as well as it's effective range and overall dps not as high
I think you are completely missing his point, and worse yet, saying it's stupid. Every time you reconnect for any reason, any magazine above half will refill to full and any below half, but above 0, has a chance to refill and a chance to disappear (he missed that part in his post). So it's never wise to use an entire magazine when you can switch mags halfway through and next time you load into game they're all full again. Also, regarding bizon, 2 64 shot mags is more than 3 ak/stanag/etc mags. Which is plenty and a half.

Yesterday was pretty fun.
I am around NW airfield and I eventually link up with Maestro, Arch, Dense, Carmon, Zorkmnd, and Stevarius. We are rolling deep. I get a M4 Silenced that I absolutely love.
After the airfield we hit up camp and decide to check some possible sites then head east.
Nick starts yelling in team speak that a van is chasing him we hear "I'm TL, I'm TL" they hit Nick anyway. Come to find out it was Tofu, Shootemup and those guys. Nick ends up dying anyway I retrieve my buddies DMR.
Anesthetic was moving his camp and finds Random Heli crash site and says there is a M107 there we are like 5km away. I would have taken that trip all by myself for that gun. We all decide to head that way 6 people deep. Anesthetic starts taking gun fire we try to hurry to help him still like 2k away. By time we get there the guys are gone and looted the crash site. Anesthetic survives and is good to go.
We then decide to hit up NE Airfield and Berenzhino on the way we find Mani and Jochan's old Big Red Tractor. I hop in to start er' up. Quarter of a Tank of gas good to go. I push it to the middle of the airfield almost killing my teammates in the process. So Im in the middle of the airfield with a big ass Red LOUD tractor. Not much there at the airfield we head to Berenzhino. Somebody spots a guy on a bike but we can't get to him. We loot berenzhino and I eventually log out from being so tired.
Was fun rolling deep like that with all you guys.
