Direct damage would be nice too. These cards exist. Certain characters in future releases can't be decked. However, combat remains the best way to win. It really seems like you want a gimmick deck, not a control deck. Even in MtG, almost every control deck wins by attacking with creatures, and it's the same here. There were several blocks in MtG that relied on winning not by attacking, but by spellcasting or direct damage. Invasion-era blue decks, for example, relied on counterspells and boomerangs to keep the board open while stuff in the ilk of prodigal sorcerer chipped away at health. In the onslaught block, a number of viable decks centered around cycling and alternative abilities. Not to mention morph-based trigger play.
In almost every era, there were viable decks whose primary path to victory was not attacking with big monsters... Combo and control decks, to be specific. Big creatures were mana intensive, and these decks were all about mana efficiency.

But I always hated decks who won by grinding down the enemy library slowly, the games took forever.
And is it just me or has the AI gotten a lot better overnight? My poor Pintail can never trigger her ability, because the AI only sends size 4 and 5 followers onto the field. Edit: Queen Cannelle doesn't disappoint at least and lets my 30/5/25 Pintail stomp her followers.

First one (bronze) gives a random accessory for 2 tokens (the cheapest one can buy accessories at). The second level silver gives a random card from the current episode (which is episode 4 right now). The third level of gold is the same as silver but has a slightly higher chance of giving a non-common card. Generally only bronze is worth getting unless you plan to spend a bunch of money on the game.
On another note, went 7-0 in ladder matches today for a 29-6 overall record (currently tied for 2nd but likely just top 10 once everyone has played their 7 games). I recorded the matches so I may post them if I have some free time later on.

The obvious flaw to this field is Swap Spell, but when I can successfully get the Lineage + Meadow train going on the second slot, there's not much they can do since I can dodge Swap with anything in the first slot. Add Unlucky Girl on top of that, and things get pretty big pretty quickly.

Strangely addicting game.
Tons of grinding though, but it's so easy you can do it while doing other homework or watching TV or watching streams.

Someone mentioned turning the battle animations off, is there a way to actually do that? Also, I wish there wasn't a time limit on turns in PvE. sucks trying to play and heal in WoW at the same time and miss a turn lol.

Accessories are mainly found by Fighting pvp, also the dungeon bosses will give it to you. Although if you truly wasted your tokens and aren't too far in, you might want to restart.

Thank you for bringing up the knowledge of this game's existence to me. I now have a new game to play whenever I have those boring days off work. I spent a little bit of my afternoon getting used to how the game plays and what I should be doing next. I'm a noob at this game at the moment so I'll probably notice the flaw of my ways in the next few days.

Looks nice, going to try it out! Like many others have said, any help is welcome! IGN: Hellions Vita

Damn, I just realized how scarce those accessories materials can be without the proper use of token. Instead of using it to buy a bronze card, I just waste it on a boast which gives me zero useful card and other inefficient stuff (an advanced gym key and a pass to the jungle lol). Considering I am not that invested in my account, I'm just gonna make a new one
So now I'm playing as boon, still maining crux. Gotta love those knights
Another noobish questions: What is a good first rare card to get as crux, Vanguard or Sinclair ? Also, is there a point of getting more than 100 training point for upgrade, does it increases the training success probability and what is the training success probability anyway?

So I gave this game a shot, and DAMN is it fun and addictive xD
I think I'm gonna restart with a different starter though, the vampire chicks are cool and all, but I just feel one of the others may be more suited to me. I also blew all my starting tokens on bullshit boosters that got me cards i dont even want >.<
Oh well, I'll put my new name in here once I get around to making it, any suggestions on the starter/what to do early on?

Any of the factions should be fine. Just do all the quests, save your tokens, and grind dungeons. Good luck :D
