On Xbox, for my PvP characters, my preferred way to grind through the game to get what I need is a fast 40 END, Havel's Ring and Dark Wood Grain Ring (Ninja ring). With these two rings you can equip full Havel's armor, a fairly meaty shield and decent weapon (in my usual case, Black Knight Shield and Lightning Spear) and remain below 50% equip load, therefore getting the fast-run of the Ninja ring lol. Makes life easy. With the PC nerfs to the ninja ring though this isn't the case, I presume. Still, in my opinion it's one of the best rings to wear for PvE, because you have so much more flexibility on wearing heavier gear. | ||

I tested on Skyrim and it works completely fine with that, and it's a brand new controller so I don't think it's broken. I've tried unplugging/replugging the controller, updating the drivers, calibrating it through the control panel, even unplugging the mouse - nada. It doesn't make the game unplayable, but damn is it annoying when my character refuses to run during boss fights. I have the feeling that just nudging the sensitivity of the controller up a bit could solve it. Is there any program that can do this? If anyone knows of any fix or workaround that could help, I'd be very glad to hear from you! | ||

It removes friendly white phantoms, and it removes yourself from someone else's world if you invade/assist them. http://darksoulswiki.wikispaces.com/Black Separation Crystal And, as noted above, you won't get invaded if you're hollow obviously. But I know from previous posts you were looking for white phantoms to help. | ||

Can't invade anybody now, so I just went ahead killed Gwyn on NG and doing NG+ now... | ||

You need to have good amount of HP and END to last that fight. Just summon the NPC Knight Solaire and another player before the fight. So it is gonna be 3v2. | ||

i might use the entire paladin set because i think it looks cool edit: also, was going to say that i think it's odd that there is absolutely 0 downside to be invading people, since i get all souls + humanity back + stay human. but if i kill someone, they lose their human status which means they lose 1 humanity. it should be the other way around imo | ||

Maces and morning stars are dreadfully slow though and if your opponent has a brain your WotG will be nullified fast. Honestly if you ever see a talisman in their hand or if they switch to one it's WotG 100% and all you have to do is bait them out. Your mace/spear combo are pretty unsafe in my opinion and the only faith spell that has a decent chance of hitting is a WotG but can be easily rolled. It's a shame there's not many blunt weapons. A cleric is the first thing I wanted to (role)play as but blunt weapons all swing slow and don't even have a R1 R1 followup. About the invading, it is a little dumb that they get away scott free. My third character is going to be an anti-fucking-dick character. I've been invaded a few times by the low-level/high-gear fags and they are SO terribad. Honestly man, you know how bad they are when they actually have to heal up with humanity multiple times versus a fresh level 30. I'll hang around at Gargoyles and keep fucking them up. I don't understand why they wouldn't want to improve at PvP instead of smashing fresh characters all day... | ||
