It's really frustrating. I would even go so far as to say that save editing is probably even easier on the PC, unfortunately. Wonder if something will be implemented to do away with it, if that's even possible given the way Dark Souls pvp works.

But it would not surprise me if GfWL is region locking the invasions. Yeah the area after artorias is where I got one of my invasions, I guess its time to reroll darkwraith and try again. Kinda frustrating since I definitely had more success on the 360.

Yeah, and in my Documents folder, it's listed in there, with a save file in it. I wasn't that far into it so I don't mind, but since it's Saturday, I don't want to invest like 12 hours into it and have it all go away tomorrow or anything.

Are you actually logged into gfwl before it gets to the starting screen? If not, try pressing the "home" key right when the game starts up.

I'm now playing with a controller, but actually the controls are just completly different from what other games use. Half the difficulty is learning to press the right buttons/keys for this game.

Mouse movement is completely screwed up though, moving it horizontally makes the camera swing vertically more than horizontally.

Tried it out at a friend's place today but didn't run into a great deal of trouble tbh, I just set sensitivity really low and it played just fine, did a quick run past the asylum demon without much difficulty.

So I'm pacing and waiting for an opening and then all of the sudden my character trips on something, takes damage, and dies. What the fuck. T.T i was so close Whattt? This isn't Day Z you don't trip over a branch and break your legs than bleed out.
