Most of the french servers are organised for PvP : Augury Rock : WvW with Auld and a whole lot of PvP alliances from GW1 or other MMOs. Vizunah Square : Most of the french online non-gaming community. Fort Ranik and Jade Sea : A lot of small guilds in one, a lot of RP in the other. Arborea Stone : A big WvW coalition just moved there. Whiteside Ridge isn't massively populated which is good for us since every newcomer doesn't have 1h+ to wait for WvW (I get there in under 5min in general). We just need a little bit more organisation. My laptop can't handle bus fight so I'll have to do cover ops all the time  | ||

Of course, thats a bad thing too, because its such a struggle to play together  Ive got 3 issues with this game, and all are launch issues, and minor ones in comparison to other MMO launches. 1) Overflow, kinda hard to play with my wife because it decides at random if it will work or not when you click the "Join X person" button (seemed ok today, did the patch fix it?) 2) Trading post always down, is QQ time :D 3) Cant play WvW, queues too long, or its bugged, idk, cant get in, ever, 6+ hours queued.. Still, i play whenever i want and servers never go completely down so yeah, much better launch then most. THIS GAME IS AWESOME. | ||

I downloaded whole game while I took a shower, made coffee and smoked a cigarette. I feel your pain though, I used to be stuck with a 4 megabyte connection. We just have to accept that having a connection lower than 24 mb is in the past. 100 mb is the new reality. Try to enjoy the game though | ||

not only have they coordinated flank attacks and all that, they have everyone going to the right objectives. I am on desolation and we have the usual zerg people, but also some good people and above average communication, but the frenchies just pull ahead right at the start again, last time they wrecked us with double the points, too. Im really curious how they do it. I was in a french guild in Aion and it was pretty great and we were pretty good, but the whole server is like that :D | ||

I've had 0 problems with downloading patches and same with my roommate. The only issue I currently have in terms of the servers is that I'll occasionally get really terrible lag in-game every so often for like 5~10 minutes. | ||

Hahaha I feel you with the overflow thing ^^ I've been playing with 5 friends speaking on mumble, and after we were each placed in different overflow servers we've developed the saying "You're not supposed to play with other people in MMOs". It's actually quite ridiculous. The game is great otherwise. I've been a bit annoyed by the fact that they apparently decided to perm ban everyone buying Norn cultural weapons as it was 'an exploit' as it was priced wrongly. I guess Arenanet already made the money they could from the people that got banned, but it's still a dick move. | ||
