If I buy a game I think I will enjoy and it turns out I don't, obviously I will complain about it, that's the least you can do. If it's as bad as SimCity seems to be, I would probably try to demand a refund (since that will effectively hurt EA). What is problematic is when people go "Boohoo, this game will have launch DLC, Boohoo, this game will require an internet connection, Boohoo, EA made this game"... then buy it anyway, and continue to complain. That's dumb as hell, don't buy it if you're going in KNOWING that you will dislike it.

Most of the complainers who own the game knew what they were getting, but they bought it anyway because they can't resist. In doing so, they benefit the publisher they hate. No it isn't. Most of the complaints were directed at online play, and some people don't have a problem with being required to have an internet connection. I personally don't as long as I can just play since I'm always connected to the internet anyway. Most people assumed the server connections would be fixed eventually, and they were, and I personally have not had any serious connection problems.

- Solve the infinite visitor respawning bug. - Solve the "2000 jobs available, 8000 commuting in" bug - Make one-way roads and avenues. - Make right and left turn only extensions for lanes. - Make intersections like real life (for example, stop signs on two sides, or a T with one side stopped. - Underpasses/overpasses. - U-turn zones. - City regulations for visiting/tourists - Taxes on mining industry - The education system is kind of stupid, you should require a grade/high AND higher level school, not just 1. And it would be really nice to see more levels of buildings other than low density/medium/high. It looks like this game really needed another year, like diablo 3. Hopefully the devs will keep at it!

they removed those, probably because they dont trust their glassbox sims, who run from 1 house to the next until they find a bedroom/a job/a shop, to be reliable enough. they really didnt do themselves any favours with this system where they insist on everything being an agent. They are so obsessed with this, they made electricity, water and sweage agents. What goal could that possibly achieve? All it does is use a lot of CPU cycles to calculate pathfinding for thousands of little blobs every second. They could have stopped at traffic with this and would be able to support 4 times the city size.

I thought you did atleast if you want to educate your whole city you need all 3 because i noticed gradeschool fills up then high school then colleges and it comes in periods of times as if people are growing up and progressing though the system. Although i guess if you just have one people who move in who are already at that education level will go though that system.

If you tick the Education layer, you will see different shade of green that indicate difference level of education. The ones that aren't green might go to grade school, while ones with some green might go to high school and then to University.

If you have a university AND high school, then your plants will complain that they can't find skilled workers. And that's GG for a big city. Also, emergency vehicles need more life-like ability to move around in traffic. Maybe a shoulder on avenues.

YOU DONT BUY GAMES BEFORE YOU MADE SURE IT'S GOOD OR BAD. You're telling companies it's ok to make shit games like this one, because you will buy it anyway.

Not a single soul that played (and streamed) the beta had complaints about the game.. And even as the game was released it took days(!) before people even began complaining about the actual gameplay. Please inform yourself before making silly statements like that.

You're telling companies it's ok to make shit games like this one, because you will buy it anyway. Since i was a child some PC games made me very excited so that i could barely sleep. Im actually glad that i havent lost this after all those years and with the internet full of all kinds of games. I buy those games, if they turn out bad (not often the case), i simply wont get excited about something from that publisher the next time. Im not going o stop doing this just because you think its stupid not to wait a month before buying stuff and let others test it. Also, there is a flaw in your logic. If everyone would listen to you, you would have noone to actually tell you if its good or bad. Also, its pretty obvious that EA took a big hit with this release, i dont think the signal they got was "lets do this more often!"

It takes at least 4-5 hours to get to the traffic and visitor bugs.

But that means you need to buy it which means you've already given them your money and can't go back.

How is it possible to make a resident only city, how can the residential demand stays high ? Why does the same actions don't always have the same effects ? Why does the game tells you that you "earn a lot of money" when your budget is negative. A lot of things make me feel the game is just more or less random and that there is no real simulation engine behind it. What's with those 30000 minutes waiting times at the airport. It seems they never played their own game.

There certainly is a simulation behind it, but it's far from perfect and pretty simple really. And of course there has to be some randomness to it, just like in the real world.

Also, the Space Center is up but it doesn't get enough workers for it to function despite the 150k people in my city. With anything regional being so delayed in an age of online shooters, I wonder what kind of netcode they managed to put up.
