LOL I would say that, unlike previous disasters, this one actually seriously hurt EA. It's not just the nerds complaining about it. SimCity had a rating of 91 at Metacritic when I checked right after launch. Now? It's at 65! And that's the critic's average, not the user's. Amazon and various credit card companies will give you your money back if you mention the game without any questions asked. EA gave away free games because of what happened here. Would any of that have happened if the nerds wouldn't have complained loudly about everything that's wrong with the game? I doubt it. But you do keep on making fun of the gamers that buy a game and then complain about their product. I'm sure you'll get something out of it. ![]()

all pollution that is leaving your city to the region will reappear in your city on the opposite border. So, if you for example like me have an incinerator right on the edge of the maps, you will have clouds of death moving through the whole city. And oncfe those cloulds leave the city, they also will reappear. Its like what happened to venus.

Funnily enough the garbage collection and recycling has worked like a charm (despite the sim AI).

Most of the complainers who own the game knew what they were getting, but they bought it anyway because they can't resist. In doing so, they benefit the publisher they hate. Prior to release, I dont think many knew what the problems were with the game. Always-on isnt necessarily a problem (see: steam, SC2) and the game looked fine from what I had seen. They didnt know how in-depth the gameplay was going to be or the existence of many bugs. They didnt know that they would have such horrible server stability. etc etc. If you bought it after knowing about the server instability and complain about server instability? You are probably silly. PS: Other people buy it to see just how bad of a trainwreck it is.

Target has it for $40, and I had a $20 gift card I've had from family from a birthday long ago, so technically I got it for $20.

![]() It's for the limited edtion. I bought it twice. The unused key was bought via origin. Have all email contacts saved, including bill. I would sell it here for a fair amount of 30€, if anyone is interested. I have to look up the details, if its multilanguage key etc. I can offer a paypal account or via bank transaction. Non the less, i don't give such "sensible" details to anyone, so don't be mad if i maybe choose another person over you. ![]() Its bought via german origin, but i guess it shouldn't be a problem at all if it stays in eu.
